(I just want to share an cute bit of trivia about hummingbirds, since they were mentioned.)
Most everyone already knows that they are called hummingbirds because of their wings, but many people think that's all they CAN do for sound. The most common one here in The States (Ruby-Throated Hummingbird) also has this cute, little, rapid, squeaky sort of call that makes you smile when you hear it... because it sounds a bit like a pet gerbil or guinea pig, crossed with a squeaky toy for your kids. ;) And from what I've researched, almost all hummingbirds have some variation on this cute little ruckus to raise. LOL (As per the above joke, it's still not much of a 'singsong' voice, so they really don't know lyrics anyways.)
Also... little fluffs have ROCKET-poops! I mean they can't do anything slow, even poop. I've seen it a few times, but I remember one in particular landed on a wire, and sent a projectile about as fast as a BB gun shoots. If that little birdie had been the size of a robin, the inertia would have moved the whole wire! IN other words, very impressive for such a seemingly small little thing. Keep an eye out for it next time you spot a hummingbird. ;)

Gopher, I am beyond excited to watch this dlc. I've been a long time silent viewer for years, since before the days of Richard, and this series about cp2077 is one of my favorites so far.
Thanks for all of the years of amazing long form content that has been my warm companion all along the way.

I think the learning AI was part of the biochip itself?

haha, the car rear ending you at the beginning happened to me as well.. but I had to reload because I kind of went scorched earth on that whole area afterwards😇
I wonder if Gopher has seen service. Oh shiny thing, I must have it. "what does it do?" I don't know yet but it's mine and you can't have it. lol
Lol I gave up on CDPR adding in Nightvision to Optical cyberwear and just added a mod for it such a simple concept missed, irked me.
Finally
Hah, I was just waiting for that rear ender (oo er) at the start. First time I rolled up to the spot into Dogtown, exactly the same thing happened.
No idea why, but an NPC must've been injured or killed in the crash, because the cops right out my window just turned and opened fire on me... I was so bemused I just sat there being shredded.
I adore the game, but there are still some really irritating bugs and a lot of weirdness here and there.
Oh, and frikkin' loved Phantom Liberty. I don't think the base game is an especially great example of open-world design, especially where the main story is concerned. But PL was a much better paced and structured experience.
I feel the writing standard is probably the best in PL. My only issue is that it's perhaps a bit too tragic by the end. 2077 went out on an amazing high, though.
Wonder if Col. Hansen is a fan of Billie Eilish.
Songbird is definitely inspired by Ada Wong.
Gopher, did you not know your optical implants had nightvision…or did you just not like it?
No, it's one of the few major gripes I have with the game. How they didn't think to add nightvision is beyond me :)
If Gopher wasnt recording he wouldve spent an hour fighting with that lady that hit his car lol

Long time fan (late Stiv days) recently returned after getting a new PC and re/playing all of the things played on the channel myself before viewing. So much to catch up on but I have really been enjoying this playthrough so far.
V going to Dogtown and immediately gets into a fight about the car before even going in. Priceless
I LOVE the opening on this expansion. Talk about starting off with a bang

I also do love the progression of your V’s dynamic with Johnny. The urgency in the “what do you mean ‘cut him off’?”
Can't wait to see what you think of PL! See what you did there, taking nosy to whole new levels, meanwhile jumping up and down levels of the garage 😂

When So Mi says, Air Force One is on it´s way to Dogtown, I just thought: "No, actually it crashed one in-game week ago, because Gopher had better things to do after first contact".
Finally you remembered that there was an airplane with a president somewhere frozen in time and space waiting for you ;-)

SPOILERS:
Could add a lot to the reveal of her being in on it with Hansen. The player's timing retconing it into her contacting V all the way from Washington, before Space Force 1 even took off.
@@GophersVids No, I think she didn't. But she made it clear that it was very urgent. I just mentioned it in the point of "realism". Time management is a real mess in this game.
@@ensarhasanic4963 Na, I don´t think so. She could have ruined the whole thing, if she told someone too early. The plane must have been hacked already. As I already said, great game, but the time management sucks.
