While many fans would have liked Washington to draft multiple offensive lineman, Adam Peters chose to spread the draft capital among different positions and draft his "type" for each position, in Sanristril, Sinott, McCaffery, Magee, and Hampton. You can't argue against the strategy, the cupboard was so bare, and AP is trying to build a team culture. Drafting 3 offensive linemen wouldn't have had the same culture-building, team-wide impact.
Protecting the QB should be the priority. You lose him, it’s 4 wins for Washington.
On Coleman, the two usual things that cause people to project a kid to guard before he's even taken a snap are length and footwork. Coleman's fine in both. He's long the longest for sure, but he's well above the cutoffs. His best year was 2022 when he played his entire season at LT.
I think this whole Coleman-is-a-guard thing comes from the fact that in 2023 he had a high ankle sprain he was gutting out all year, and so looked less fleet of foot. The team also had a bunch of interior OL injuries and moved Coleman inside because that's what they needed. The mobility loss from the injury meant he looked better at guard in 2023 than at tackle. The public Draft Industrial Complex mostly watches select games from your most recent year. So I think alot of guys got the mistaken impression that Coleman is a better guard from that.
(((BOOM)))
Unfortunately, some fans and media pundits can't see this until they see this. They seem to forget Adam Peters and Lance Newton know a thing or two about scouting and player development and prefer to trust the projection and opinion of lesser scouts and twitter experts.
1st round pick next year is going to be tackle
...or a corner, or an edge rusher...
🙄
Exactly
FIGHT ON! FIGHT ON! Till We Have WON !!
Washington will be in great shape in year #3 with Adam Peter's as GM. Jamin Davis will have a better year even tho he's not been a bust like they seem to act like.
Wow, never thought it would be this hard to find a tackle
Yeah it's ridiculous
That's only because you're a Skins fan and we've had a great tackle for 20 years before Leno came. Ask fans of the other 31 teams I bet you they say yes it is that hard
Most premium position in football other than QB. Either gotta overpay in FA or get one in the draft, usually high in the first round. Will take time to get that right
@@justinevans182 fr dawg, we had Trent Williams and Samuels with no quarterback smh 😭
@@justinevans182 very well put. Great point man.
0:18. I too normally do-do. 🙋🏾♂️
1st comment!

Maybe they will play Davis in the Micah role as a rusher/blitzer?
Hot take: Gus Ferrotte ===>Kirk Cousins===> Sam Hartman? Who wants to make history with me?
Baldinger uses his finger as bait. 0:58
😭😭😭
WINNING OFF THE FIELD
All you negative "fans" need to realize something, this is nowhere near the same team, from top to bottom. We've got a solid coaching staff, drafted well, and it's not like we can be worse than last year. The opposite will be the case, it has to be, and you may be surprised. This could be the beginning of something, has to be
The holes at OL are a big problem.
We need another year of the draft to get respectable on the OL .
2024 season we will be last in our division .
Holding all that cap money does not make sense to me for all the holes we need to fill.
Too many cooks in the kitchen. You need a max of 2 junkies at a time. You trip all over each other and the presentation is disjointed.
Built to win what? 5-6 games?
Do you think that you can suit to make the better you either a fan or not stop whining
6-11 this year… no way they get 8 wins 🤣
It would be an improvement from last year
@@_Wirenut_Vegas has them at 7.5 o/u, I think the "under" will pay too!
p.s. last year I bet the over at 6.5, and lost...
Bobby Bethard who worked with 2 SB and HOF coaches said you need "10 good players" to start with, to have a 3-year turnaround. And that Washington doesn't have 10...
Here the same thing every year bout WAS……6-11 book it!!
Baldinger couldn't have been more underenthused about this trash team.
