the taxi told me 100 dollars i took the local bus its like the gray hound it was 10 dollars it went fast to downtown cancun where i was going packed with locals even if your in the hotel zone its way cheaper to get a taxi to your hotel from the bus station on my way back it was 30 dollars to get a taxi from downtown to the airport

You didn't mention that you need a negative COVID test to get back in to the US, even if you're vaccinated. Currently, you need a negative COVID test no more than 3 days before you depart. On November 8th, that requirement will be the same for vaccinated US citizens but unvaccinated US citizens will need a negative COVID test no more than 24 hours before you depart. If you are vaccinated you will be required to show you are vaccinated else you will have to follow the same 24 hour guidelines as unvaccinated citizens. You mentioned the immigration form you need to fill out to enter Mexico but you didn't mention that you need to keep the slip they give you from that form and present it when you leave Mexico. You also didn't mention the Quintana Roo Tourist Tax you need to pay before you leave which is about $11/person.

@@Sumermak Americans are good at playing if needed. If they were more strict about it. They would make more of an effort to inform us it needed to be done. So if randomly asked. Say “what tax?”
What terminal was this? All terminals are different correct? Cuz I was in 3 and don’t remember the immigration looking like that
This was C gate which is part of terminal 1. For Southwest Airlines, they do not fly out of terminal 3. Sorry

Hello How early would you recommend being at the airport prior to your flight
3 hours, depending on current COVID restrictions. This answer could change a year from now when COVID is gone.
How long did it take from the time you came off the plane until the time you were outside of the airport? Curious if customs/immigration took awhile or not
About 1 hour, it could be worse in the wrong line.

Definitely do your research before drinking any local water. While locals may be used of the water, tourists may not be and it could cause discomfort. Personally, I try to still to bottler or filtered water! Thank you for watching!

You mentioned you need a Covid test to leave, but you never showed getting tested. Where do you get tested?
The resort provided it at the resort. If you are at a resort that does not provide it. There are many pharmacies and testing facilities around town. Just keep it within the 48 hour window.
I just got back from Playa del carmen in Jan &Feb. You don't need to to fill out that questionnaire on your phone. They hand you a paper questionnaire while you are in line. Do make sure you have a negative covid test done in Mexico !!

You don't need the questionnaire at all anymore, as of 1/1/22.
Is Cancun airport easier than Mexico city for arriving.?
Mexico City is always crazy. Mainly because it’s a hub for layovers to other Mexican destinations. Cancun doesn’t have that.
Where in cancun can I get covid test ? For flight back to us?
Most of the resorts provided it at the resort. If not there were multiple sights all over the main highway.

As of March 18th 2022, yes you can. But I would keep an eye on www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/mexico until you go.
4:26 - Quick question in the Mexican covid health questionnaire for QR code, You showed that you can register a travel companion when complete the online form. Does that mean you can fill this questionnaire 1 per couple ? or do they also have to complete one as well on their behalf?
I think you can do up to 4 people on one form.

I heard a lot of people have been sick after eating at Cancun airport. Also don’t you have to have a paper proof of negative Covid test not just the QR code from health questionnaire when going back to US?
You do, your resort will provide it. And I’m sure people get sick from airport food all over the world. Lol 😉
Everyone always says to get the forms on the flight. We've been to Mexico a few times and we ask for the forms and they NEVER have them!
We got the forms in line for check in for our flight. Just need to keep an eye out for the person handing them out. Plus have a pen handy.

many resorts will hold your bags after check out & let you still use all the amenities until you need to leave. I usually book the latest flight home possible & get an extra day at the pool in
We do that in a lot of places. This was one that was different for us. The only direct flight made our schedule for us.
