Hello! I found this guide to be somewhat useful, but it does not cover problematic and not always obvious rules. Like it doesn't cover the flanking, gun jums, MG shooting from different turrets, reloading, angle the hull etc. There is also no examples in a video of how the shooting works against infantry and armored vehicles, which are quite different and may confuse new players (like me 😁). This game is not as simple and easy as it might seem. And I've found that many youtube gamers make huge mistakes during their playthroughs. It would be great to see a more detailed guide on the combat system itself. Because that's the core of this game.
Hello! Thank you for watching and for the feedback. There are two main goals of this channel. The first is to provide an overview of each game to those considering a purchase. Hopefully these videos provide enough information to help gamers make what is sometimes a considerable financial commitment. The other goal is to provide a basic introduction to the gameplay, not necessarily to review all of the rules or nuances of the game so a new viewer is not overwhelmed. You mentioned some good points regarding this game. Perhaps more advanced videos that focus on a deeper dive into the rules and actual strategy might be appropriate for a Patreon channel. If there is a demand for these types of advanced videos, that should definitely be considered. Thanks for the suggestions.
excellent job!! This by far my favorite game, and with/threw the forums and files, I think I've learned "how to play" the game. Thanks for the video!!!
If the manufacturer had ANY scruples they'd reprint the instruction manual and send anyone who proves they spent the money a brand new copy of the rules. Horrid editing...
I was also surprised at the quality of the rulebook. Although this game only had a difficulty rating of moderate, it was one of the more challenging games to understand and convert to video because of the rulebook. For example, before the errata were made available I was completely confused by the back page Combat Sequence that had major steps out of order and referred to wrong charts for combat! Definitely more difficult to learn than it should have been. I expect some errata for most historical wargames, but this seemed extreme.
For me the problem with the rule book is the layout in a narrative format. This type of format is extremely difficult to learn from and to refer back to. For procedural games, the format should be in an outline/bullet point format so all you have to do is start playing the game from the top and follow each bullet point as you play the game. Also making it difficult is that some game concepts are split up in different parts of the rule book instead of being together. How to shoot is the worst with information spread out in the rules and on the different tables. Unfortunately, there is also some undocumented information.

Thanks for this video. I understand how firepower and penetration work now 🙂
Glad it was helpful. Thank you for the feedback.
Very good, thanks !
Thank you for watching!
I'm missing a place to write down the names of the tank crew - just like in B-17 QotS.
That is a strange omission.
@@learnthisgame6612 I just feel more attached to characters with names…….

Good point.
