I came to write exactly the same! I could have told you this before, what was everyone expecting from a guy like this! And it's going to get worse, trust me
F1 doesn’t want to share the winnings with another team, what makes you think they would want to spend all their money on putting races together at tracks that would most likely have to break from the FIA as well?
@@jharris820 tracks are independent organisations that have a contract with FIA to host F1. If F1 splits from the FIA it would stand to reason those contracts would be nil n void as the FIA than no longer represents them anymore.
@dawnmaster68 would ypu say it would be more beneficial to get a body in place before hand so when they wipe the hands clean of the FiA they already have a governing body to pick up where they left off that way there is no delay?
No auditing committee will lead to total tyranny. I do hope someone has the testicular fortitude to run against MBS for president, I'd hate to see him be unopposed. I feel F1 needs to turn to another sanctioning body, if that's even possible.
I could be wrong here, but it looks to me that MBS is firing anyone who goes against his style of running the FIA, totally priming the way for a dictatorial style of leadership.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 This is hilarious. It’s outright hilarious. MBS just wiped your REnd with sandpaper and you will say’ Please Sir Wipe me Again’. We’ve been since the 80’s FIA was too big too overpaid too much out of control and nobody has control of there actions. All motor racing that is sanctioned by FIA which is about 90% world wide, now pays the price. Maybe it will take again Ferrari to set the record straight and start a break away series like they did in 1986, it then gave FIA and Dada Bernie a ::: Wake Up Call ::::::::
It definitely will not be getting any better any time soon. MBS's terrible and authoritative leadership will only push everyone, including fans, away from the sport. As always, great job, George with this video!!
MBS "whining" about being "attacked by the media" and having it "hard"...... Guess what...... us F1 FANS have it HARD to hear only your name and your rules and bringing nothing by division instead of "working together for a better F1"..... 🤮in a BIG way!!!!!
What is the point of having FIA when you have one person who has the same it’s a controlling body the biggest giant in F1 BMS as he has the final say so what is the point of having FIA I don’t understand this at all❌❌❌❌❌❌🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳🇻🇳
MBS is a product of his culture. Those in power, when you catch them off guard, act like they have dominion over whomever they speak to. He will not stop until he is FIA’s monarch or is ousted. Dictatorship is becoming an attractive alternative to voters in much of the world for no better reason than their diminishing hope for their futures under the current regimes. There is no regard for the lessons of history. American voters pay more attention to sports than politics. So, I welcome this drama as a way to convey an important civics lesson to a voting public motivated by fear and selfishness. We’ll see. Maybe this will save golf before the Saudi’s control it.
All FIA events should be boycotted by all motor sport fans, motor sport needs to start a new governing body, MBS is a dangerous dictator and all volunteers need to stand down
MBS fixed F1 from the ridiculous and illigal grip Mercedes had on the FIA and F1. For that I'll be greatful, but it might be time for him to go. This is a pretty gross overstep
What you expecting with someone like him in charge
Let’s go GP1 and ditch MBS and the FIA.

@@annabee75 Indeed we don't need the FIA or MBS, time for F1 to setup its own governing body
Well....f1 could leave the FIA like they've been threatening to do

@jharris820 if they found another governing body to do so they absolutely would.

I wish F1 would start there own nonbias governing body within F1 and keep it in house, but separate.

F1 is bigger than the FIA and needs to leave the FIA.
Who expected this from a middle eastern guy!. 😂😂😂😂
a part of the world less corrupt than the West!

Just kick him out.

I'm waiting for the nepotism to begin.
Too late
My sentiments exactly.
he says about the most nepo sport in history 😭😂
hmm reminds of a guy named Balestre
MBSs behavior is baked into his existence. Part and parcel of hid societal upbringing. No On here should be surprised...
it's time F1 leave the FIA and do their own thing. The FIA is so corrupt and it's ruining the sport.
The Audit and Ethics committees should be overseen by the FIA senate or a committee appointed by them.
You elect an autocrat and you're surprised he goes full autocratic? You reap what you sow.

I only recently became a fan of F1. This sort of stuff is quickly turning me sour on it. I'm really fed up with all this corruption everywhere.
Can we raise A New Hope from the driver’s association? Possibly Lewis Skywalker initiative sometime in the future .. 😄
Dictatorship.

What was people expecting??? This guy should be governing camel racing ONLY! WFT is doing here?
Power and money, that's what MBS is all about, camels probably won't bring in enough
Time for an F1 breakawy
History repeats itself, as we all know. Against this new Balestre, we need a new Ecclestone.

Well, in the USA, the oligarchs won the 2024 election.
Why should it be any different in the FIA?
UEFA has also been going down this path for years.
