Listening to Blaze in this video is just embarrassing and it was pain to see him in a small club with Iron Maiden in 1995! The show with Bruce Dickinson on the stage next door 3 years later was thankfully much, much better!
i have to say... i dont think Bruce would have been able to do this, Blaze has a more theatrical voice, and it sound perfect here, that being said, Bruce is the better overall singer, but on a classical version like this, and with Doro we need to have Blaze..

Man on the edge, Clansman or Judgement of heaven are great songs and Bruce was good while singing Clansman, but wouldn't beat Blaze. Two totally different singers but Blaze is great and was great with Maiden.

js007kcor Agreed dude. I saw Blaze perform last November and he kicked ass. The problem is that traditional Iron Maiden songs in their original keys are problematic for deeper singers. Bruce's range was strong in the high ranges where Blaze's strength lies in the lower ranges. His solo band(s) do 'Fear of the dark' in a lower tuning and it sounds as close to perfect as you can get without it being Iron Maiden.
Blaze... I heard better performances of this song than from that Bayley in karaoke pubs. Doro is as good as she is always. And you AZZA or whatever, you should stop listening music, its clearly not your cup of tea.
