    Thanks for warning me off buying a cheap O2 sensor socket. Here's a tip for anyone replacing the sensor: cut the lead off and use a normal deep socket.

    The Clamp. Is well known here as a "Jubilee " clip/clamp. Which you possibly know by now. Cheers for the video.

    Is this bank 1 sensor 1. I have zafira b 2012 and im getting code p0130 o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. I need to but the sensor but im confused as to if this is the correct location or after catalytic converter. Many thansk

    I have same car and fault code is P0420 ,(Bank 1 )engine light is on as well
    Is that same sensor I need to replace ?

    Is this location 1, any advice please have a bad one but looking at it the metal frame wasn't secured to the engine block and the wire was resting on a hot part of the engine...Will this cause an issue

      Yes, that is location 1 on the catalytic converter. Location 2 should be on the exhaust pipe

    Great trick to get WD40 to reach the threads, never thought about that. Could you use a mini-torch to heat it up? A small out-door like torch that uses butane.

      No, just tell the shop your car registration number and they will give you the right one.

    Best to heat your engine nice and hot before removal much easier

    The trick is to us jubilee clip over the split tap it down . Easy
