- In this video we took a deep dive in to two occasions where NFL Stars trash talked Darrelle Revis. For decades Randy Moss wrecked havoc on wide receivers, but he might have went to far this time. Hakeem Nicks is a standout wide receiver who might have gotten too bold with Darrelle Revis.

There is one person who gave Revis major trouble in the "Revis Island" era and that was Stevie Johnson with the Bills. You wouldn't have thought because the Bill's sucked so bad but he always danced and taunted the Jets

Moss was way past his prime in 2010, thats why he was with 3 different team that year😂all his years with the Pats he was past his prime. If you watched him from 98-2005 with the Vikings compare to Pats, his quickness and going up to get the ball was much better.

@@daltiejul not gonna lie you’re right cause Moss was a bit on the back end of his career but he never really had injuries. But Moss had insane speed and Revis was never known as a speedster. He actually struggled more against the smaller receivers. But Moss had incredible size and straight line shoes. So of course he’s going to beat Revis on a go route. But Moss definitely didn’t win the matchup with one catch even if it was for a TD.

Exactly, that’s basically what happens when you’re past your prime going against somebody in their prime. Same story as Revis vs Moss, moss was basically at the end of his career.

Yes darrelle revis won that battle plain and simple and they won the game only the ducks that cry are hurt the truth is in your face not taking nothing from Randy Moss but that game yeah he got shut down playing the simple
I mean... He's good. But Moss beat everyone. 4 targets is quite different from 8 plus. If Brady threw more to him it would've been different. But throwing to every other Jet is a lot easier than throwing to Revis. As good as Revis is, cornerbacks aren't invincible. I remember Terrol Pryor having a career game against Revis. That's not shown on here. A touchdown off 4 throws, and 40 yards isn't exactly a win for Revis.
It’s much harder to be a corner than it is a receiver , matchup wise, if that makes sense. Containment is a win , let alone total shutdown IMO
You do realize that not getting targeted means that a DB did well. That means Brady couldn't throw to him because he was covered so well.

Ok, so your opening clip is of moss on revis. He literally posterized revis that game with a one handed TD. Revis was great, but Randy absolutely embarrassed him and talked plenty of trash the whole time. You made yourself look pretty contradictory with this one bud..
On a lot of those plays Revis made contact with Moss before the ball got there. So if we calling who won Moss clearly did since Revis had to contact him before the ball got there. Yeah the refs didn’t call it but cameras and replays don’t lie.
All the best corners know how to time it just right. Moss had 70yards combined in 4 games against Revis.

Misleading video… I will say, moss shouldn’t have been talking when he was so far past his prime and got that reason I respect the video because you’re right moss was still talking but pointing out “hall of famer” so misleading to those who aren’t true football fans.
Another big point non-diehard football fans would know is Tom Brady’s incredible reputation for spreading the football. Yes I am well aware the targets moss got with Brady and how many times they cashed in but Tom knew Moss was slowing down and with it his targets did as well. In the 2010 season (Randy’s last season as a patriot) in 11 games Randy’s targets dropped all the way to 63 and of those only 28 were caught.
This isn’t to say I don’t respect revis by any means I know what he was and how lock down he was but you made it seem like locking down an old Randy moss was impressive (which it is) but not the extent you drew by saying “hall of famer” that’s like making a saying stephon gilmore could lock down a hall of famer then that player being Larry Fitzgerald who is still great but increasingly old and I’m the football scope, very old

Every player will drop balls they're supposed to catch. It happens in football - you can't call someone out for having a game where they dropped easy catches, acting like its completely directed toward player skill. I always feel it is the people who have never played football on the field that can't wrap their heads around how professionals still drop balls.
Have someone throw a spiral as hard as they can directly to you over and over and I think you'd be surprised how many easy balls you drop. Shit just happens in football more often IMO more than any other sport.
