Finally found the right video. Awesome information articulated. Can you please paste the screen shot of Google Map with all touch points of important turns?
Hi, thanks. The actual Ghat area is about 30 minutes. But it's not continuous. From Malkapur to Kolhapur Panchal Phata, it's about a 2 hour drive with around 30 minutes of going up and down the Ghats. Roads are great though. No potholes.
Thanks folks - safe journey back - as for Goa - we’ve been coming here since 1984 (mainly driving) and apart from where we live (Dona Paula), the roads are truly wretched here - Goa had exemplary roads in the past - all gone to hell - potholes are as deep as the politicians’ pockets who fill them 😢
Wow, that's a long time. We travelled here last year and fell in love with the city. Just the perfect place when we need a break from Mumbai. So good to meet you here. You have a wonderful time. 😀 Hopefully we will bump into each other some day. Thanks, and take care!
I've followed your most Informative videos on the Karad/Anuskura/NH 66 Route to Goa with much interest - As a senior citizen and motoring enthusiast who has been driving to Goa for the past 40 years, my wife and I drive our X5 to Goa this Wednesday - My question is : I note your video shows the time taken as 15 hours ! I usually average 10 hours via Nipani/Amboli, but as the road surface on your route seems so much better, is the Anuskura Ghat/NH 66 route much longer ? Thanks again for videos and keep up the good work !
Nice to meet you and know about your love motoring . The Anuskura Ghat route is roughly an additional 70 kms when compared to Amboli ghat route. But given the better roads, you should be able to cover the additional 70 kms in a similar time frame. I take some additional time to cover the distance since I do a lot of stops to shoot videos. So, technically someone else in my place would have covered the same distance at least a couple of hours sooner. Also, I'm a slow driver. Usually less than 100 even on open roads :) I hope you have a great trip in the beautiful machine. Happy travels!
Hello again - drove down Goa yesterday via Anuskura Ghat as per directions on your video - have to say that the route albeit really long (12 hours against our usual 10-10.5 hours via Amboli), no other route compares with this one in terms of scenic beauty and road quality - as soon as one turns off the 48, it’s like entering another dimension - as a 68 year old long distance driver enthusiast for decades, kudos to Sandy and Karan’s video on this route which was the most precise one out there - well done and keep up the good work - let’s hope our return to BOM 2 months later is as pleasurable - cheers ! Glenn Abraham 😊
Hi, hope you're well. 👋 Glad to know that you loved the route. Thanks for your kind words. We've travelled from that route at least 6 times in the last 12 months and it has not developed any potholes. In fact, we head back to Mumbai next weekend too. Fingers crossed it stays the same in the Monsoon unlike the roads within Goa which have developed big potholes. I hope you have a wonderful time here in Goa. Thanks 😀
Hi, yes. It's modified from F10 to G30. Anuskura ghat roads are amazing. Nothing to worry about road condition. No potholes at all. A safe and pleasant drive. We Drove in the night too, zero problems. Just that you would want to plan your food and washroom breaks in Karad. No restaurants after Karad till you join NH 66, which is almost a 3 hour drive. Rest is just an amazing drive.
I don't want to give you wrong advice. I have heard that NH 66 has bad roads in a lot of patches. So, personally I would plan to leave early to avoid traffic on NH 48 than driving via bad roads on NH 66. Happy travels.
If you are starting from Mumbai, enter Malkapur first, then from there Kolhapur Panchal Phata... Take a left from there and you will be on Mumbai Goa NH 66 (2 hours to North Goa straight drive).
Hi Clint, if you take the Anuskura Ghat road, then Sedan would be fun to drive. No bad roads apart from 1 km stretch which is manageable. Lots of Sharp turns on the Ghat, so I personally enjoyed driving the Sedan. No body roll and it was more comfortable. When are you planning the trip?
@@SandyAndKaran When I buy myself a car 😆 Took a couple of test drives of hatchbacks and compact SUV. Suvs are great for the city because of the high seating position and ground clearance. While hatchbacks like I20 are more fun to drive and feel stable on high-speeds.
True, while Hatchbacks are fun... The roads in general are not meant for them if you are planning to do a lot of roadtrips. My first car was XUV 500. It's a tough decision. All the best and do keep me posted about which one you select :)
Sorry, but for the awareness it creates, those stickers aren't coming out any time soon. Sadly, you will have to ignore them and watch the videos if you plan to watch more of them :)

Hello , Amazing video - Thank you so so muchh - we request you to let us know the Anuskura Ghat Drive is for how long ? 30 minutes or more please
@@SusegadGetaways sorry, missed your message. It's almost 1 hour. Thanks.
Hey, useful video. Can you please share what should be entered into Map to take this route??
If you are starting from Mumbai, enter Malkapur first, then from there Kolhapur Panchal Phata... Take a left from there and you will be on Mumbai Goa NH 66 (2 hours to North Goa straight drive).
The BMW looks WOW.
Thank you.
Nice car collection.
Thanks!
That 1km patch in Saundal Village has been repaired now.
That's good news. Makes this an even better route.
How did you shoot this? It looks great.
Multiple cameras
Sony, phone, and Insta 360
How much time does it take to cross anuskura ghat
You would keep driving up and down the ghat for roughly 90 minutes.
If you can paste the screen shot of Google map with all touch points of important turns...
As also requested by Arthur..it would be great help.😊
Will update the screen shots real soon. Happy travels 😀

Which song is playing in background?
It's a song from Epidemic Sound. Don't remember the name though.
background music is boring and redundant
sir ye bhot long route hua
Yes, it's a little long. But roads are better. Safe for the car.
