You say you were happy with just a chocolate calendar, then maybe you could teach Atticus to do the same? There are so many children out there that haven’t even got an advent calendar x
I hope you get to feeling better. Try not to stress over advent calendars etcetera, Atticus will remember the love you gave him and the fun you had over holidays not so much each little detail regarding what toys he had each year
