Even if you have been treated badly, we should never commit such sins against our fellow man. The past is the past. We can only mould the future. It is common knowledge in law, society and religion that there is a difference between lawful and illegal violence, a difference between immoral violence and moral violence and a difference between what has been acceptable violence within society and what has been unacceptable. Hamas' attack was illegal, immoral and unacceptable bad manners. Because it was an unprovoked attack on individuals that had displayed no aggression to Hamas and were no military threat to them at all. It is on the same level as any massacre of unarmed villagers we have known about from so many past wars all over the world. Israel's response is legal, moral and acceptable within a civilised society. The responsibility for the harm done to any Palestinian children lays squarely on the shoulders of Hamas, who hide behind these children while shooting missiles at Israeli children then blame the Israelis when the child they have used as a shield is harmed. The alternative for Israel is to allow these Hamas monsters to go unpunished for their crimes. That's what you all want, isn't it?
