As someone who appreciates a great how-to video (like this one!), thank you for not editing out the parts that gave you difficulty, such as dealing with the key chip pins. It puts the viewer much more at ease knowing that some steps are more difficult and we won't feel like we are doing anything wrong if we encounter the same issue.
Obviously this is designed for people with slot machines, which I don't have...yet, but i absolutely loved this video. Thought it was pretty cool to see everything involved up close and explained so well. Much respect to all the slot tech's who do this for a living. You really have to know your stuff.
Thanks, Followed your video on a Triple Stars I picked up that had a lot of issues. Had the multi denom pad and your video helped me walk right thru it! Tim in Kentucky
I’m somewhat of a techie, curious how things work and this was interesting! There’s more to the programming side than I thought there would be. Thanks for posting!
Man I started as a Slot Tech working on an old S2000 Slingo machine 8 years ago where they still had old machines. Nowadays I just do ram clears on these whacky newer machines.
Hey! Great video. I echo another comment made here that it's great you don't edit out any trouble you have with seating chips etc. I have a S2000 machine (5 reel, currently set to $1 coin in/out and 1c per credit, no ticket in/out). Would you have a denomination sticker for 1c/2c/5c/10c? I assume as your video showed a ticket in/out machine in the chip reset I would set the coin denomination to $1 as that's what mine takes. Thanks again for a great video.
Great video, i have a s2000 i followed the video, and all went well, but having an issue and cant figure it out. It changed denominations but i dont have a touch screen. There was no spot for the button but i believe the wires were there so got a button and hooked the wires up. My question is, is the button not working because i enabled the touchpad that i dont have
Thanks a million! I followed every step and was able to change my denom. One thing though, the bill acceptor won’t accept my tickets now. Can you help with this?
This vid is awesome!!!! Thank you so much. I’m a new slot owner and this help me 1000% with my igt2000! Can you do a video like this (denom change) on Aristocrat MAV500( Buffalo Extra Reel Power). The current denom is set to 10c, I would like to set it to 1c. Your help with this would be greatly appreciated!
I have a single denomination $0.25 machine but the four corners individually light up. What setting would I need to change to make the whole thing lit up at all times?
I like my Double TOP Dollar single denom that way he says *"DOLLARS"* instead of credits. All my other S2000's I changed over to multi a few years ago.
Is the clear chip something that allows the circuitry to complete itself. And is the key chip what is its purpose because you pulled that out and you put in the mainchip is that the same that you initially started with
Also you mentioned to have a spare clear chip and does that apply also with the key chip how would I order Spares and what to ask for and with this stuff be in the manual that I had printed out for the S2000 Sorry so long and so many I appreciate all you do
The clear chip clears the ram on the board, essentially putting it back to original factory settings. The key chip is required in order to put the machine in a state that allows you to set specific options (denomination, payback %, etc.)
man..that panel whooped your butt! touch pads on multi-denom are the devil. highly recommend using the old school button to change denoms. what flavor denom stickers do you have? 1$/5$/10$/25$?

Me too, very interesting!👍

This so educational. Helps to understand what's inside, and how to fix it in a pinch. Tried and tested, and true. Nice.
From an old computer tech I love this stuff. Keep up the tech stuff. Thanks Marc
Great overview, Marc! Yeah, I’m so OCD with the decal making sure it’s aligned properly, and it can be a pain.
Wow that last part really complicated lots of steps, great job Marc you have much more patience then me, lol 😆 😀 Thanks for sharing.🎰
Thank you , Marc 😃😊

This video really seals my confidence in my slot plays. Thanks, Marc.
Thanks for showing the sticker, you wont believe how hard it was to find out about that.
I was just thinking of how to do this the other day. May be an up coming project. Thanks Marc.
Thx Marc. I love the tech stuff too.
I love tech stuff thank you Marc!!

Thank you Marc for a super video! I have a S2000 Double Red, White, Blue machine. Hubby is going to convert it to multiple denom for me! YAY!
Have fun!
I'm at the bottom end of the tech knowledge and ability scale, however I love watching these videos. Just tech envy I guess. Thanks Marc!

Having the same problem, did you ever get it figured out

Thanks for this! I've been thinking about buying a machine and have been wondering about how that touch panel gets installed

take a picture of each step so you remember how it goes back together.
Im picking up a Triple Double Red White Blue tonight, can you help me with some questions
Haha! This is where you've been all this time? Maybe I should start one of these for S+'s?

Have a spare clear and key chip in case you bend the pins.

Yeah, I may do a follow-up video later on how to do is that way (Marc)
I'll reach out to you Rick - I have a bunch I just bought in bulk (Marc)
great work!
@@CowboySlots I’d love that video!
Question: On machines like dragon link, why does it all of the sudden change the bet for you to a lower denom while you are actively playing?
I haven’t heard of that, unless you don’t have enough credits left to make the bet level you are currently on.
@@CowboySlots it has happened to me alot
So cool! Do you know how many Pinballs or Spins (WoF) bonuses are on the last reel on a slot machine? Is it just one or more?
It's just one, but that doesn't tell you anything about frequency of hits because of the Virtual Pay Table being used in all modern slot machines.
@@CowboySlots Awesome, thank you for the response! Keep up the awesome content!!
Cool video
I have a Double Top Dollar I’m trying to convert and I need the touchpad! Any suggestions?
