My job took me away from SD. ive got another year til I can come back for good, the bikes are all in storage but still run and ride well every time I come visit I make sure :)
i just have thicker oil and some longer dampening rods. it felt like crap stock but never like i was going to go over the bars even in some really sketchy stop situations. still is a crap front end but after riding rigid bikes for years this thing feels like a caddy! i never saw the point in spending all this money on a poor front end because at the end of the day its still a tractor. youre better off converting the front end to something thats already decent
Don’t know an exact number, but it’s comfortable for me. I can put my feet flat with some bend in the knees, and with mid controls my knees are about 90. The shocks have three or four adjustments and with the stiffest one i get about 1” of fender drop. On the lowest or softest setting I get about 3” of fender drop. Just something to consider if you run a chain for when you need to periodically readjust it. I’m 6’ 175lb for reference.
I think lowbrow had em long time ago it was around $13, and super worth it. It’s not the big one, but I can carry whatever I need or whatever doesn’t fit in the bags. Case of beer fits perfect and is tight to the seat, nice back rest

Have you upgraded the front suspension at all? If not, do you ever feel like you’re about to go over the handlebars?

6’ tall, I sit flat footed with knees bent easily
