Interesting you use bar fingers for fourths, have you ever tried using second finger on the lower string or even 2nd on the lower and 3rd on the upper say when you are fingering g on the A string and you need to alternate between the C and B
That's usually what I use, as I'm not a big fan of barred fingers. I just used it as an example for this video :)
