Today we will take you miles back into a narrow section off our favorite lake in Montana, Willow Creek Reservoir. Last year we found the best spot on the entire lake, and decided to see how good it still was.... To our surprise it was even better than last year. I used to fish there once a week. It wasn’t uncommon to pull a 5-6 pounder out of there. Hellacious winds and opening shorelines have made me a little bit gun shy. It’s a great fishery though!

Yea I heard story's of giant trout coming out of Harrison glad to hear the story's are true. Yea the winds are hell, but on the days when its calm it becomes our favorite lake to ice fish!

Nice fishing guys. Was this trip this current season? I’m trying to get out there (Livingston local) and trying to figure if the ice is that good.

Thank you and yes sir this was recorded December 30, 2023 and it had about 9-10 inch of ice. So by now it's probably over 12 inches, so get out there and catch some hogs!
