Exactly, sustained performance is the most important metric, long are gone the days when Qualcomm focused on sustained performance, now they are all focusing on delivering a pretty number on a benchmarking app, but like you showed in the benchmark what's the point if they are only doing it for only a couple of minutes? and after that the user experience drops significantly and that's what matters the most in my opinion
Mostly just gpu on the iPhone but if you gets test real daily performance maybe hard video editing and rendering and playing game rm7 just crush iPhone and any other yep gotta love that cooling system ^¬^
@@notori-di5et video editing requires a lot of gpu resources and storage I/O, iphone would win in these tasks slightly much faster since iphone has slightly better gpu and better storage type. But in gaming, RM7 would lead.

Good job for the Red Magic, unfortunately, gaming is all it has over the other two phones, and most people would rather just buy a PS5, or XSX if they wanted to game that hard...
I’m also going to show some new state and apex gameplay. The 960hz touch sampling is awesome. I hope they bring at least 400 to 500 for the iPhone 14 series. Even 500 touch sampling rate is significantly different than the usual 240-300 found in the iPhone 13 Pro Max and S22 Ultra
Yeah snapdragon is falling behind on single core performance. Have you heard about the new leaks? Qualcomm has apparently hired ex-apple engineers and states by end of 2023 or beginning of 2024 their chips will surpass both apples A and M chip series.
@@DameTech, that's kinda long tbh... I just don't understand why they focus on gpu performance so much? It's pointless to have a powerful gpu combined with a slow cpu. It's like having rtx 3090 and an old Athlon, it will bottleneck like crazy

@@DameTech maybe someone in Qualcomm will use his brain just for a sec and improve memory bus width to 128 bit (Apple did it in 2018, lol). That’s the main reason why Alien Isolation, Total War Medieval II, Fortnite and other huge ports basically unplayable on Android, compared to rock-solid 1080/60 performance on the lates Apple devices.
Man, I think it would absolutely be a beast. I don’t think any phone could beat it. Already the A15 is showing to be the better chipset but limited by thermals. That peak highest loop score was 3.1k which is insane. If Apple released a gaming phone that 3.1k loop score would also be sustained performance.
@Shaan Naafir so true, those phones don't even want to risk getting rid of those hideous notch and hole in display lol, all that because of great front facing camera 😂
Test bypass charging mode, please. I suppose it's actually a fake or a misleading name for the feature. As far as I'm concerned, it actually gets as much energy as it consumes, so the battery doesn't drain but still degrades significantly faster due to overheating
