First off, Great info! I will be renewing my passport next year from DC. However, i lost my original nagarikta but i do have photocopies. Do you know if this will be a problem in the process?

Online it says original citizenship required. In my experience what i saw there they asked for original. Since you lost it they might be okay. Asked around some said should be okay. But, just to be on safe side give a call to Embassy or the Consulate.
If anyone has had similar experience please share the info.

Thank you for the video. It’s truly disappointing to see the embassy operating in such an unprofessional and unethical manner.
Regarding the payment, do we need to bring a money order, or are debit and credit cards accepted?
