Like for real! Me too. It's little things like having your car break down and someone you barely know help you. Living in LA that would never happen. People are so cold there. I may not have the excitement of LA but I have 10 times the love. Being in LA for 10 years of my adulthood I'd never even been to a wedding cuz really...who gets married there. Where i am now they do and its wonderful.
How bad is it? I know some ppl who have left California and especially LA because it’s overly priced and taxes are insane. Plus the amount of homeless ppl was becoming a problem.
Exactly! I moved out of Cali too to Utah and let me tell you it's such a big difference. It's so calm and quiet! And everyone is so nice. Our whole attitude and demeanor definitely changed moving out of California. If anyone is thinking about it do it!
There are also positives you don't get other places. I sincerely miss the holistic community there. I miss the organic food and meditation groups, comedy, anything under the sun you were into. It felt incredible to be able to go to a breathwork session any times I wanted and feel that collective energy. As much as i miss that, the positives of leaving psychologically outweigh the things i miss.
Ryland, enough people have already said this, but your grandma is a national treasure and we stan

there is so many pros to moving to Colorado; stuff is cheaper, it snows there, Ryland’s family, more private land, more things to do, nicer people, etc. etc,
and I feel like if they move to Colorado, they’ll finally start their family!!

Colorado is not cheap like literally at all lollllll
Colorado is actually getting very expensive to live in and has been causing a lot of natives to leave. Even places that used to be "bad nieghborhoods" are astronomically rising. There are a lot of people moving here from places like CA who dont realize how much its changed our culture.and this is a sentiment shared by just about every native you'll meet. Also we get about 300 days of high altitude sun a year. Its snows but it melts very quickly and night time black ice is a THING.

Really made me sad seeing Shane hide that much behind things. I know his personality has always been so open and up in the camera and just having such a wonderful time filming for himself and others. Shane you won't ever make me mad I don't think someone should be judged for their past for so long people need to let that go thats on them not on you. You take your time not even expecting you to make videos again but both of you just keep staying healthy for eachother and don't give in to the hateful spiteful people. i love seeing grandma in vlogs I moved away from home 6 years ago im like 1700mi away from home and my mammy got real sick beginning of the year and then ended up passing away in a shithole of a nursing home in april. Ive never regretted being away from home well mostly away from her more in my life. I miss her so much she raised me so please cherish every moment you have with yours. Love you guys.
