Great video. An observation: While segmenting manually it might be a very interesting idea to go to Volume rendering, and show the model that is being segmented instead of the cropped volume. In this way you see what you're erasing/adding in the 3D view (also).
I have segmented femur from actual CT scan data and created a hollow structure for printing purposes, but after completing the procedure in the "segment editor" module I am not getting the option to save as STL file format in saving dialogue box. Please help me to solve this.
Yes, of course. Consider looking at the Segment Statistics documentation, see slicer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user_guide/modules/segmentstatistics.html

+Daniel Garcia this is indeed a very good suggestion!
I did not understand. Can you elaborate?
Hi. I wonder if it is possible to make volumetric measurements on the segmented objects ?
Is it possible to change view to Red Slice and 3D (side by side) ? And in which situations is Interpolated cropping better than Voxel based one ?
Awesome! Thank you!. Can you tell us how to save the segmentation as a binary image?
Thanks for the video. Can you tell me how to export it as .stl file?
Great video, thanks! What kind of laptop performance do you recommend for the 3D slicer?

I was wondering how much does it cost to make segmentation? And is there a place where can I pay somebody to do this?
good day.
I want to know if you have courses for this program in Mexico.
Thank you
Отлично! Спасибо за Ваши обзоры!
Fine! Thanks for your reviews!
is it possible to get a 3D matrix from the segmentation ?
Thank you very much for this great tutorial. Is there a way to calculate the volume of the final 3d model in cubic mm?
Yes, of course. Consider looking at the Segment Statistics documentation, see slicer.readthedocs.io/en/latest/user_guide/modules/segmentstatistics.html
I understand you demonstrating but you could slow down a little. But great work.
Thanks!
