THANK YOU SO MUCH! I followed your instructions and was my ignition coil, at the same time changed my rotor and distributor cap! You are a good man to share your knowledge ❤🤗 🙏

Going to be checking my 98 frontier tomorrow. Hoping it’s the fuel pump so I don’t have to do all this lol but this helped a lot thanks.
It’ll start if I give it gas but dies out. Replaced the whole fuel sending unit about a year ago ( it wouldn’t indicate gas) and it came with a pump. I think that pump gave out. Should have kept my oem one in there smh

So mine stopped with a broken timing chain, along with needing a head gasket replaced. It has since been fixed, and properly timed, but before it went down and still after fixing those problems, it’s not even trying to start. The starter is turning the engine, but it’s not trying to start. There is no compression, same as it was before everything was fixed. What could cause this? Any thoughts I’d really appreciate it.

Just did timing chains on 98 frontier 2.4 ,, know have a no start. Any ideas as where to go? I feel like I don't have the oil pump and distributor timed right.

I would start with distributor and oil pump timing. Secondly, I would remove the valve cover and put engine to top dead center to see if cams are aligned to timing marks, along with the harmonic balancer timing mark.

Did it throw a Check Engine Light Code? If so, what was the trouble code?
