Hailed as the second Swami Vivekananda, Pujya Gurudev Swami Chinmayananda (1916-1993) is an orator, writer and leader par excellence, a patriot and spiritual giant, one of the finest representatives of Indian spiritual heritage who spearheaded a global Hindu spiritual and cultural renaissance that popularised the religion's esoteric scriptural texts, teaching them in English all across India and abroad.
He worked tirelessly with tremendous energy for more than four decades to spread the message of Vedanta, leaving behind a great legacy for man. Fantastic gurudev..but you don't explain the key note of Shankara that Brahman is true and world is a lie..but later many spiritual giants like Sri Aurobindo, Vivekananda, Ramakrishna paramhansa explained that if the Brahman is true how the world can be a lie because the Brahman has become 24 cosmic principles and it is He who is manifesting Himself through the sun , moon , stars and all world nature

This swamy is illogica and non-vedantic. His understanding on shastra is quite non-traditional. All authentic tradations of Vedanta schools accepts Veda/Shastra are un-authored (apourusheya). They are not authored by Rishis as this swamy misunderstood it. The very entomological root of "Rishi" is mantra-drasTa (the one "seen" veda matra) (not veda author). The very validity of Vedas is by they being authorless hence faultless. Hence there is no flaw in saying mukti happens only after death. Shankaracharya's argument is purly based on logic (anumAna) wihout any shastra basis. Hence Shankara's and this speaker's position that "Moxa happens only while living" is quite wrong and anti-vedic. We do not call Shanakara and his philosophy as "Buddhism in disguise" for nothing!
