Wow u saved me from going to a official store and wasting, my time as well as their time as well as transportation cost thereby reducing CO2 as well :)
Omg! This was just what I needed. I have multiple Gshocks and the hands were not matching the digital time. I stopped wearing a few. The watch shop at the mall couldn’t even fix it. This helped me do it in 2 mins.
Haha! That's funny! I mean, I'm sorry you stopped wearing some, that sucks. But I would think the watch shop would know! It's in the manual. Problem is we all throw them away or misplace them. Glad I could help...it's like you gained a few watches now!
I thought my watch was broken this happened just after I got my watch battery replaced the dials were completely off the digital time I thought it was broken u are a life saver for real
What an excellent video, i was thinking my watch was broken in some way. after watching your easy to follow video i managed to reset and put things right. Thank you so much for posting and sharing your video. Liked and subscribed.
I came out of a few days being ill and thought I was hallucinating when my digital was reading 2 am but the facing was reading 1:32 am! I was worried my watch was totaled somehow but thanks to this video, I was able to reset my watch! I’m curious on what causes this though, so now I’ve gotta go do research! Thanks for this video!
I have no idea what causes this. Some kind of electric drift or loss of sync I imagine. They are obviously aware because this technique is listed in the instruction manual.
@@WatchWitt I was definitely about to find my manual to check it before I found your video; that is interesting and also glad they gave us a method to fix the issue! Electrical interference would make sense though as well as simply getting out sync!
In my G-Shock, lower right button (Start button) or here, forward button, does not work. But top left button (adjust button) will do the trick. I guess, it's different based on the model of g-shock you use. For context, I use GA-2100.
@@tridipbaruah_ Thanks for contributing to a solution for others that can't make these steps work! Yes, different modules can have different steps....I only know the watch I have, and they keep coming out with newer models!
Oooh. I don't know. You're holding it down, not just pressing it, right? If your module number is different than this one, might double check for manual. Otherwise, if the timing seems right, I'd start with a battery replacement. Cheap way to start process of elimination.
Sir question. Thus this problem occured because the watch not worn during bedtimes? Coz my analog watch have the same problem every morning being delayed 5 to 20 mins from the digital one.
I don't know what causes it! But yours sounds pretty aggressive to be off by that much every morning? Is it possible you're at the end of your battery life?
My G-shock won't go into the sub mode when I hold down the forward button it does nothing. But the forward button works. Not sure what happened, my digital time is correct but the hands are way off.
Ah, bummer. Maybe it's a slightly different module? Or perhaps your battery is near end of life, so it won't even enter that mode? Just guesses. I'm baffled why the handset discrepancy even happens in the first place! But my guess is weak battery.
@@WatchWitt god knows. I suppose like any item with hands/dials/gauges it can go out of calibration and requires recalibrating, glad to have it sorted and have a working watch back on my wrist 😌
I tried to make it simple and quick. It's funny how easily we forget these functions. My hands were misaligned the other day and I already forgot how again...I had to watch my own video!
Your other comments disappeared....but maybe try a warranty claim then. There's also a slight chance you have a counterfeit with an inferior movement. The first one I bought of this exact watch was unknowingly so...this one is genuine.
So a battery replacement fixed the same issue? I've always wondered what causes the hands to fall out of sync. Near the end of battery life might be the cause....?
Ah, bummer. I wonder if you have a different module or something? As you can see by the comments, the video has worked for LOTS of people. Thanks for mentioning, though, in case others aren't having luck either.
Wow u saved me from going to a official store and wasting, my time as well as their time as well as transportation cost thereby reducing CO2 as well :)
Haha! Great! Well, it's all in the manual, but we throw those away, right?!
You do know that plants use co2 to create the oxygen that you breathe right 😂😂
There's no scientific evidence that CO2 causes more water vapour to be trapped... The whole theory of CO2 being a greenhouse gas is outdated science.
The only video that clearly explained in detail how to properly adjust the hour and minute hands. Thank you very much!
Awesome! Glad your G-Shock is back in operation!

You’re welcome! Unfortunately, it happens from time to time, so you’ll be back for a reminder sometime in the future. I always forget myself!

OMG! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I replaced the battery on my GShock and the hands did not match. This video did it! Thanks a million!
Needs it from time to time...you're welcome!
Thank you so much! My watch has been out of sync for months now! You saved the day lol!!
Great to hear! It's annoying, right? Glad I could help.
Awesome tutorial. Im a visual person so this is so much better than going to the manual. Thank you Witt!
Thanks! I needed a refresher myself, so decided to just make a video!
@@WatchWittOh, that's awesome 👍
This video saved me. Thank you kind stranger.
It’s a weird issue and fix, right? You’re welcome!
You explanation is much better then trying to figure out the Casio manual. Thanks for the help.
Thanks…I tried to simplify it and make it quick!
Thanks mate for the short and crisp video.
In and out...get it done! Glad your watch is back up to par.

I just fixed mine thanks to your video! Thanks!!! 🙏
Yay! You're welcome.
Great vid. But what if you’re trying to get the sub dial to move and it will not? I keep pushing the forward button and nothing is happening.

Worked a treat! Thank you.
They thought of everything, except the fact that we don't like to look in manuals! You're welcome!
Great help. Watch is now set.
Awesome! You'll be back...they seem to fall out of alignment every now and then...!
Hey so this worked perfectly but it always goes back to having this issue. Any idea why?
Mine does it occasionally. My only guess is battery is near end of life???
Yeah you may be right. The light definitely isn't as strong as I remember it being. Will try to replace the battery.
Would love to hear if that was the issue...
This helped immensely thanks mate!
Awesome! Just use the same search next time...happens every now and then...

Good job man you saved my day

Right on. Don't chuck it! Ha!
very helpful, thanks!
No problem...Hope to see you around here!
Thank you so much I was about to lose sleep over this 🤣 great tutorial
It's kinda freaky when you first experience it, right?!

Amazing video, thank you for this. I was scratching my head after changing the battery wondering why it was so far out! 👌🏻
It's weird, right? I don't know why they drift from each other...

True. See you back here soon! 😂
You explained it the best out of all the videos on UA-cam, thank you!🙏🏽
I tried to make it simple and quick. It's funny how easily we forget these functions. My hands were misaligned the other day and I already forgot how again...I had to watch my own video!
You should also put in to tap the face (Bezel place) on a flat surface it will reset the arms if stuck
Ha! G-Shock tough!
Watched a bunch a videos before this one and no help. Thanks for the easy step by step.
Nice! Glad I could help!
OMG😊 Thxs Great Video🎉
I'm glad it helped! They're tough watches, but they have their quirks.
This was so helpful. Thank you.
Sure thing! Glad you're up and running accurately again!
BRO THANK YOU I thought mine was broken🙏
You’re welcome! Glad everything’s good again.
Great video. Clear, concise and right to the point. Thanks, Witt. 🤘⌚✌️
Rock on!
Thank you!
You bet!
Bro, thanks a lot. Straightforward explanation. 😊
Tried to make it as short as possible...thanks for noticing!
If the 4sec button isn't doing what it should, make sure to use the Mode button untill you see the date and the day of the week screen.
True...I believe you have to start on that screen.
Thanks a lot man
You're welcome...glad you got your watch squared away!
You made my day, man! Thank you
Win! Enjoy your improved G-Shock!

Complicated little module, huh? I mean it does so much for its unpretentious looks!
Damn this watch ..thanks for the help though

Holding the forward button just shows me the temp. Nothing else
Sounds like you have a different module that I don't have experience with, sorry!

🏆Ah, thanks!
Faith restored in g-shock
It's still a weird occurrence though, right?
Set both hands to 12 straight up then watch automatically resets to digital time display.
Isn't that what you wanted to do?
thank you. replaced my battery ans it was all cattywompus... and i was losing my patience....
So a battery replacement fixed the same issue? I've always wondered what causes the hands to fall out of sync. Near the end of battery life might be the cause....?
