    Hello everyone, thanks for the helpful feedback in the last videos! Duel videos are not really entertaining but educational. In this video, I played all ranking matches with my main account and explained my thoughts and tactics against the top 1% with some exceptions. ;) The commentary is not scripted so it's pretty straightforward and when I missed something just leave a comment. =)

    Something to note is that Both tiandi and kensei don't really want to do their dodge heavies against each other because both have solid answers to both. Also You probably didn't know but Tiandi has 0ms start up on his guard in any direction he dodges into. Meaning he can basically block things like berzerker feinted into lights/pk dagger cancel on reaction by dodging into them. It's a really good tool for him defensively.

    • @bennyfranklin7045
      @bennyfranklin7045 6 років тому +4

      Yeah but you have to dodge attack into them. Also, Kensei dodge attack is booty vs Tiandi. Tiandi can cancel his which is bullshit imo. Every new hero they add they end up breaking the rules of the game. Imagine if Orochi or Kensei could cancel their dodge attacks, that alone would add so much mix-up potiental

    • @mongrelshadow14
      @mongrelshadow14 6 років тому +1

      No you don't. The guard coming up instantly happens wether you dodge attack or not. If Tiandi could actually reliably punish the things he can dodge with the dodge heavy attack then maybe I could agree. But at best he's dodging and feinting into a GB or a zone. Both of which can be dealt with on a read. The only good aspect for his dragon dodge is it means people can't threaten you with a bash. And for characters like warden that means you've basically got jack all in terms off offense vs Tiandi.

    • @mongrelshadow14
      @mongrelshadow14 6 років тому

      Basically Tiandi can dodge into anything in the game on reaction that is not unblockable and be safe. So trying to punish Tiandi with quick soft feints or quick chain attacks simply won't work. As far as the first bit goes if you dragon dodge kensei can simply zone you out. And if the kensei desides to do his side heavy Tiandi can zone you. Meaning both are better off using their chains and pommel/palm strike as offense/punishes rather than trying to dodge and punish.

    • @damiaan7021

You know, if you understand the game, being able to watch (and in some way experience) those high lvl battles where you can see these superb fh minds clashing is really something, I think a lot of people likes them and the way you explain in the videos is just what they need in order to being more appreciated, is just perfect I'd say. Except for your anti gank displays most 4v4 and 2v2 are bored af to watch. I would like to see you entering in 1v1 tournaments (if there are any left) and compete against the other high lvl players.

Missed 28:07, like, everyone makes mistakes but that on top of all the other stuff that was very interesting...The only reason why you lost that first game against him was because opt select was a really bad idea. Hey, after struggling with a lot of people reacting to Valk's shield crush recently I've been looking around and it seems that you can actually delay the feint (as with all feints) to make it unreactable with an effective window of 233ms rather than the normal 300ms (500ms bash - 200ms for i-frames to come in on the dodge).
    My reactions are terrible most days so I don't try to react to a Valk's SC either way. One thing to note is that you can dodge on one (strict) timing to avoid the entire mixup IF the Valk switches guards between the heavy feint to GB. Otherwise you are going to have to make a read there. Not too bad because the damage from a SC is pitiful and end of chain options are the easiest things in her kit to punish imo.
