Ha that’s what my footwell is like during a dry spell, when it rains it’s something else, been like it a year, I’m taking it to another garage on Tuesday as the last one unblocked the holes under the scuttle and it isn’t that causing it. I’ll show you some pictures on instagram!
@@carsalvage101 welllll he doesn’t think so, he had it for 2 days and he removed all seats, carpet, wings, bumper, bonnet the lot and blasted a hose over it. There was a small hole on the passenger side (which is dry) under the door sil where it joins the bottom of the car so he sealed that but I’ve still got water in the drivers footwell after rain yesterday so it’s a complete mystery now! The camber of the road slopes to the passenger side slightly so you’d think the water would pool there and we all know water doesn’t run uphill so it must be on the drivers side that it’s getting in and pooling. It’s cost £250 so far trying to find the leak
MES would tell you fuel I think. MOT at Snows who are big dealer group. Bet V5 doc reference number will track you some service history via MOTs. If plate starts with a W it’s Fiat Fleet car. Service book been in a drawer. Kwik Fit may have serviced more than twice but could have wait on phone to confirm. Judging by tyres doubt car wanted for anything. Serviced, cambelt, £3,500 and accept around £3,200. Nice for someone. It’s had all 7 mats in to try and keep clean. £40 to get windscreen chip resin injected.
Definitely stables or farm owner with all that dust and crap everywhere, the low fuel warning light went out when you started the engine so should be a bit in the tank, nice colour and no damage, with the sketchy service history give it an oil flush then the fresh oil then make sure its clean on the dipstick after its been running.. Why was it written off ! 🤔
Under all that crap it looks like a good car think that is a new service book. 3.5 plus should be where you are. 👍👍
Yeh that's what I'm thinking price wise aswell.

Windscreen sealant failed maybe??

Wasn't written off....just sold to a dealer. Stable/farm cars a just a pain to clean!
Yeah MES tells you how much fuel. Remember my car that hadn’t had a working centre lcd for 5 years? 😮
I did forget about MES tbh :)
You got that nice car for a nice price. Got to be worth £3550 if cam belt gets done.
Yeh I'm thinking about that cam belt at the moment. Just running it around to work at the moment.
Don’t you need traders insurance to buy from bca? You said you need to get insurance
Yeh you do. But the insurers website was down so I couldn't add the car to the policy at the time.
I thought doctors looked after cars, vicars look after them too apparently.
Unless the Dr had two cars, and this was just a weekend run around?!
