After using android phones my whole life, I bought my first iPhone a week ago, bought the 15 Pro Max. Couldn't buy the non pro models just simply because 60hz panel and they also have last years chipset and no telephone camera. Couldn't buy the 15 Pro because of it's small battery so the 15 Pro Max was the only option for me and it also has a 5x zoom instead the 3x on Pro model and it takes better portrait photos. 14 Pro Max was out of option because the lightning cable.
Btw. the battery life on 15 Pro is definitelly much worse than 15 Pro Max, idk where did you get there. 3290mAh vs 4441mAh. It lasts much longer if you check some battery life tests.
the capacity is smaller but so is the screen. the difference between the two isn't that much, 2 hours at most

I have the 15PM since it had the best value for me.
Bought it for 1200€ (RRP 1449€), while the 15P was at 1150€ (RRP 1199€) here in germany a few months after release.
Very happy with the device :)

I have a 15 on iOS beta 5, aside from having to call my carrier and get a new eSIM I haven’t had any other problems with the beta updates and my battery life is great especially with MagSafe i don’t ever have to worry about what percent my phone is at, so glad I traded in my s23fe cus the high refresh rate just drains more battery than it needs to
I was thinking about taking a 15 Pro instead of the Max, especially that I upgraded from a 11 Pro, but I preferred the battery over hand usability and comfort, because using my phone longer is more important than handling it tight for a significant less amount of SOT. All in all the 15 Pro was my go to device but the drawback of the battery made my put my money on the Pro Max.

Go ahead with the Max if you are a medium to heavy user, the 15 pro’s battery is worse than the regular 15. In short yeah the size of the Max is tough for medium to small hands but you’ll be satisfied with battery life of it.

I agree with the drawbacks you've mentioned about the 15 Pro, including the frequent bugs in some apps, missing features like faster charging, touch ID under the display, and the option to double or triple-click the action button. As someone switching from Android to iPhone, my biggest cons with the 15 Pro are the battery and definitely its price. Despite its overall excellence, the cost is just still too high.
How long does the battery last?

@@jackboyjoseph5135 Don't listen to him . Been using the 15 Pro from December . Flawless device . I am getting between 8 and 9:30 hours Screen On Time . Even with iOS 18 it's better .
The battery was the main reason why I bought 15 Pro Max over the Pro a week ago after using android phones my whole life.
@@belec5964 I have the pro it lasts all day I only use from 80 to 20 and it lasts me 8-9 hours lol
The iPhone 15 pro may be the best value to you, but I would pick the iPhone 15 pro Max all day and every day because of its bigger screen the five times zoom and better battery life.

On Value, i think Apple is taking us for Trash! With the money we buy these devices, it has no excuse to give us best batteries, & cameras than limit for the pros.
Bro, after 8 months, iPhones batteries start dying rapidly and your “value” goes to trash, while I’m using pixel 5 for 3 years and I can have 1.5 day easily still. iPhone sucks for its value unless money is not a problem.
Indeed. Iphone's battery dies really quickly. I have the iPhone 15 plus, which is known for having a beast of battery but... After 9 months of usage, my battery health is at 95% after 207 recharge cycles. 😢
do you use fast charger and do you overcharge your phone?
@@vukstankovic4007 on my pixel I overcharge, I use fast charging, wireless charging and I have 0 problems after 3 years. With iphone, people have to do daily voodoo rituals and pray that the battery won't drop by 20% capacity after one year of usage, which is nonsense as lots of my friends lost 20%. I'm a user that paid my money I don't want to be bothered by doing those rituals. You paid huge money and by default it should bring you a decent value for its price. But, it's all about money. Can apple install a good battery? Absolutely! Do they want to? Absolutely not, because they need to sell you a new model next year.

@@chad6864lol. 95% is perfectly normal after nearly a year. The 15 series batteries are rated to last 3-4 years so you’re fine.
