That’s a matter of opinion. The library that I enjoy in 3d emulation this is capable of more often than not requires a joystick. If it had a better D-pad I would be more hyped to play 2D games. Thank you for watching
Some really good info, it would be better if you zoomed in a little while showing gameplay. It’s really hard to see with how zoomed out you are and your hands moving.
I’m not a big fan. They work just fine but they make the handheld more cramped than the A30. There is plenty of room for bigger buttons. The DPad is decent for all but fighting games but I would argue it’s too stiff for how small it is. Maybe it just takes some getting used to.
There is some good as it doesn’t struggle through as much 3D emulation but I really needs bigger buttons, WiFi and a joystick. Man the shoulders are Powkiddy loud which is crazy for an Anbernic. I’m sure others will review this in a better light than my first look here but I’m a little disappointed.
The buttons as well as overall design are fine coming from the 28XX! I just got my 28XX from my mailbox this morning. This is the perfect pocket-sized handheld. Pulled out my PocketGo to compare and found out it's literally about the same size in dimensions. The 28XX is only a few millimeters taller than the PocketGo while the display size of the PocketGo is half an inch smaller than that of the 28XX. I'm glad the 28XX has no analog sticks, that would have ruined the design purpose for it being a pocket or micro sized handheld.
Since launch we received about 7 updates which is 7 updates more than what Anbernic used to do 😂 Great review!
Thank you
totally wrong when you say this device should have a joystick

Partially wrong. It doesn't "need" one, but it "would be nice" if it did, lol.
"If you want a joystick, get an A30." That should be the official quote from the true 28XX fans! We don't do analog sticks here.
It should have bigger buttons. The buttons on this thing are a bad joke

Good advise thank you
Shadouken I like the sound of that
they really need to release a dk creamsicle
Yes they do. That image took me far to long to make for a simple thumbnail
do checkout ZPG's A1 Unicorn handheld which comes with the Helio G99 chipset.
Yep I’ve looked at ordering it. I’m trying to find a vendor I’ve worked with before who Carrie’s it. Once I do there will be a re it’s for it
Wow do you feel about the buttons? Are they deal breakers like I thought?

@@CellPhish I ended up getting this feeling from watching the video. What a waste. This handheld couldve been so great

Thanks for the video Bro. Seeing the 36s pro sitting reminds me I need to get back to that project.

You mentioned pico 8, does it natively run?
Yes but no WiFi so you need to transfer your carts
