I have the same pathing and did the same thing with the medieval buildings (creating faux homes with balconies) but I put the storefront in front of them to be able to show more of the balcony. I really like the canal code that you have and was actually looking for one for awhile but gave up because I couldn't find one that fit. I'm looking forward to more builds from this island to get me more motivated in finishing mine. 😊
