Hank! I just bought a new leftover 2023 Nova 20C Li 3 with old headlights. I got 40% off. It’s loaded. Your videos really helped me. So did Nick. I just want to thank you for your help. Next time I stop at Santa Fe Palms in January, I would love to meet you two.
My Winnebago Solis px is my daily driver. It is on a ram 3500 van. I think it is super easy to drive. I drove a Toyota Yaris for 13 years. My van is as easy to drive as my yaris. They both are front wheel drive with a tiny front end. I would say my digital rear view mirror is super key. For me a backup camera wouldn't have been enough. Nothing beats having a mobile office, full kitchen, bath etc always with me. We did also add 800 amp hours of lithium so I can run everything including my AC. Not sure I would drive a car daily again. I also live next to a city and parallel park it many times a week on city streets.
I've racked up 87k miles in less than 3 years on my Sprinter 170. The biggest consideration/accommodation isn't size, it's the complex RV systems that are taxed using it as a daily driver. This includes wear from frequent use, road vibration, and temperature. The maintenance is higher because there's more stuff that breaks. That said, there's no going back for me: for the price of a luxury car, I have a mobile pied-à-terre.
Thank you for sharing your experience Daphne! Yup, Hank says the same thing... He's not going back. He absolutely loves the convenience and being able to set his own schedule when traveling. - Lola
Cannot buy a ProMaster because the steering wheel is not adjustable. My arms would be, literally, up in the air. How my neck would cause me such pain. Transit does adjust...
Thank you for sharing your insights on the Promaster. For me, I don't have enough leg room. But it works great for a lot people and some folks have found work arounds.
Great video for navigating in the city, thank you for that. Something to note, is that although the van technically has a nine speed transmission, gears eight and nine are apparently locked out with software, so in reality it’s a seven speed.
We have a B+ It’s a few feet longer than the B. I, Jackie park easily between two cars. However the tail is often over the line of the a bit on parking lots.
I can’t speak specifically about the Beyond but your point was a point of confusion with me as well. Coachmen with the Ram chassis gets vans from the Promaster factory with some options and some vans without some options, there is no standard unless you order a “ full spec van” and it’s stated on your contract. Also worth noting is that there is no price lock on the van you are ordering, again, unless it’s stated in the contract.
@@strangerpalooza That would be great. Also, please let coachmen know that in my opinion the cross trail European interior looks cheap and appears not have the same Amish craftsmanship.
@shannonburke7346 Totally agree on the Cross Trail. We are shopping this weekend and my wife likes the extras on the Cross Trail, but quality looks inferiors to the Class B Coachmen vans. Hoping she sticks to wanting the Beyond.
How is driving this unit on the highway over 60mph or in winds greater than 20mph. Does it catch wind like a class C? Any push when semis pass? We have 19 foot class c Coleman and it’s terrible when winds are high. Can’t drive over 45mph without feeling unsafe on highway.
Ever noticed that some people are attracted to free food more than others? These people are called takers. Do yourself a favor and learn to identify if someone is a giver or a taker. If they're a taker stay the hell away from them

I really enjoy StrangerPalooza talking about food.

I’m surprised at how quiet it is inside! Thx for a great vid….I’m always wondering about using these as a daily driver.
You are welcome, I'm happy to know this video was helpful! Thank you for watching.
brothers from another mother.
😁
HANK, you should've asked for 2, and saved one for LOLA !!!
Y'all were a hoot, but you owe Lola a trip to Satchels for a cookie !
Funny you say that!! Hank actually took me out to dinner at satchels last night and I did get my own cookie 😀🍪
@@LolaStrange Good ! He's redeemed himself !!!
❤️
Yeah, we ate there a few days ago…she enjoyed that cookie
Bank lines are normally narrow
I wanna eat there my next trip through Gainesville. Parking 22 foot Class B RV … no prob. Nice vid gents

I have 20 years driving every brand empty to loaded doing routes

That’s interesting Stuart, thanks for that info…I have to dig deeper, wasn’t aware of that

Yep Jackie that's not so bad either...in most places you can still fit in with a little overhang...not bad trade off for the extra room
@@strangerpalooza I would love to see the B+ version as I plan to full time and want a little extra room
I have a 21 ft. Ram Class B and it's so easy to drive. Just park at fast food places!!!!
Yeah I agree, Lola and I park, get our food and come back (sometimes) to eat in the van, sometimes we just enjoy mixing with other folks!
That was awesome. Great video guys
Thanks So Much Victor! 😄👍
Are the digitial mirrors now standard in the 2024 Coachmen Beyonds as well? Can't wait for the 2025 Beyond updates!
They are and they aren't...that's a Ford thing, they should be, however I would double check because Ford is currently doing weird stuff...

@@strangerpalooza , well good to know and to make a point to put into the contract if ordering one.
I would like to see a comparison to a small class c. Please compare with the coachman small class B+-C
Good Idea, I've been trying that...may have to do that at the Factory though...(logistics)

😂 im about to drive from miami to sunshine RV. Loving the Nova.
OK Cool, maybe I'll see you up there!
I haven't been to Sachels in years.
It was cool, I'm surprised that was my first time and we've lived in the area for a long time...
How about you two go out camping for a night, and you prepare a meal, set up the bed or beds, etc.?
Good Idea!..We would need a really big van though...maybe with a pop-top 🤣
It tasted like a flapjack? hell it looked like a flapjack-pancake 😂
Lol.. it definitely looks like flapjack. I got to eat one myself this week and it tasted like snickerdoodle 🍪😋
What is the mileage
Where can i buy a cheap rv class b?????
I would say your best bet is to go with used, I would look for used coachmen class b’s
Alright, where can I buy a used rv class b......
“I better be getting a cookie at this point” 😂😂😂 Great video, guys.
Thanks J 😁 Yeah I was Worries There For A Minute! 🤣
Nick has so many locations going to start calling him Buckys. The addition of cameras definitely would help with parking.
You made me laugh today! The prayers for no calories. If only!
Yeah Nick has some good ones!

You do some really good videos but, you seem to be an advertiser for Sunshine.
I’m a brand ambassador for Sunshine State RV, I’ve always been open about that
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 😁

Thanks 😁🙏🏽
Do you have a better RV Coach? How about a Marathon Coach?
I think "better" is a subjective word based on what you prioritize or what you are looking for...
