GoPro Car Wash: Washworld High Velocity Wash

- In this video I visited and IBA located at a selfserve car wash.
This touch-free system is pretty basic, but does a pretty decent job at washing.
I paid for the RainX wash ($9)
I'm not a big fan of touch-free systems, mainly because of the lack of Friction washing. These systems are not great at removing tough dirt and stains.
Overall I rate this wash 4.5 stars.
This wash is located in Perry, GA on Main Street.
This type of cleaning is used for only neat and clean cars.
That machine got a malfunction or two. When entering the undercarriage didn't work . Instead the pressure came out of the arm nozzles. Also excessive noise when arch is traveling.
Its normal
The noise when traveling is actually normal
I love car wash ❤️❤️
Cool
Looks like they got the undercarriage wash manifold setting wrong.
It shares the same characteristics as a PDQ laserwash 4000
I did not see that coming
The undercarriage spray is not coming from the undercarriage sprayer....??
Bad change over valve, it happens
Very satisfying
Sorry but no touch car wash will ever get a dirty vehicle clean I have tried many times and it does not work.............
What is the cost of such a machine?
Why does a washworld high velocity copy the PDQ laser wash 4000 i dont get it
+DEMONKANEROX CHANNEL I haven't the foggiest why.

I like carwash
Can you film a Washworld Razor?
Yes! If I come across one I will.
@@windlockatc
Thank you!
@@windlockatc that and the profile are great systems
Best way to wash your car if you don't want swirl marks. If your car is ceramic coated and you do this once a week your paint will last the lifetime of your car
Honstley, this is my least favorite way of washing my car.
But I agree with you on using ceramic wax.
@@windlockatc I live in the north east, this time of year wrecks paint, it's worked pretty well for me but I have to clean the undercarriage myself
@@TROllingNINJA2031 Road salt is terrible. I hate that stuff
Ninja Man No offense but soft touch washes do not cause swirl marks or scratches. Ceramic and Hand Washes however, DO scratch cars.
Hola donde puedo comprar un autolavado
How much is it ???
missed a spot
😆
Nice one
Was your world to be abandoned
Veo siempre autos llegar muy limpios a lavarlos hay algo engañoso , deberían llegar muy sucios con barro pegado y limpiarlos y que queden muy limpios .
No under body wash. Has set wrong.
That seems a LOT like a PDQ Laserwash M5.
+stampycatfan01 Now that you say it, it does look a lot like a M5.
+stampycatfan01 Not really ,the Laserwash M5 doesn't have T-bars instead it has sensors mounted on the bridge which is the virtual treadle which eliminates the need for T-bars ,and overall it has newer technology like LED signs and faster wash times ,etc compared to the High Velocity (which is an improved Laser 4000). The HV has some newer technology's like controlling it from a computer compared to manually controlling the 4000 ,as well as other improvements.
Thats i wash my car but the one i use has the burches
At the end of it all Self Serve wash is the best merhod to clean your car
Such a wastage of water ....That car wasn't dirty
Parth Doshi I agreed
Pollution
Cleaning a already clean car lol
How much is this?
The wash cost $20 (top wash)
Should have bikini girls at that price
Prueben con un car sucio xdxd
washworld doesent wanna do there own designthats bad
I need this system for Kenya

Terrible wash.
Why not use a dirty, nasty pick up instead of a clean car? Thumbs down
This is great that a machine can do this but what is gonna clean the interior ??? not a machine. Moreover. it better to have people that get paid to clean cars. company shouldnt invest their money on machine. For it can get rusty and destroy car with bacteria. it a car wash. not a bacteria wash. Some people work as a cash washier and depend on the job for a salary. now your gonna have robot do all the work. it shouldnt be like that. if robot took over their wouldnt be no job for no one. which isnt good. forgot robot and focus on global warning . stop using oil and gas . For it going to mess up everything we own. from water to even walking. gasoline is something plant use to absorb carbon dioxide . plant cant do that job if we keep cutting oil from our earth. moreover how are we suppose to have air if people keep cutting trees.
sr
You never went in western europe! all carwashes are automated, no one will let their car with their belonging inside to an unknown people, plus it takes a lot more times to do it manually and it is a LOT less clean as people washing cars are using old dirty clothes to wash = more bacteria than automated!
If you roll down the windows it will clean the inside at the same time.
woow
I love excess soap. I hate car washes that use little soap on your car.
No spray wash EVER truly cleans a car...period!
I'm not a big fan of touchfree, but some have good light shows.
@@windlockatc can you do a washworld profile max
@@windlockatc The razor series and I think a ryko has one too
That car has literally zero wax on it.
This is a great video! Thanks for positing it! It's always nice to see how different systems are set-up and customized!
Washworld Inc. Thank you! It nice to be noticed by a manufacturer.
Is this car wash coming to Britain
I don't know if there's any High Velocities in the UK, but I know we've sold a few Razor's there.
@@WashworldDePere im actually gonna go through a profile today
@@WashworldDePere If high velocity came back would it look like the new razors?
Man replacing the soap and water with paint in that thing would be a cruel way to play a prank on people. That thing would be a jokesters new friend LOL 😂
That car didn't even look dirty
That's what. That car is not dirty also Soo why should He/She wash it...😂😂😂
CChorselovr That’s made to clean clean cars 🤭
Right, He WAS DOING IT FOR A VIDEO.
I'm not impressed. That vehicle was pretty clean going in. I want to see it wash a 4x4 pickup truck (roof, sides, bed, bed toolbox, winch, undercarriage, wheel wells, tires, etc) covered in a thick layer of mud from driving off-road. When that comes out clean & shiny, free of mud, I'll be impressed.
Hope your next car wash vid could be 1 or any of the following systems...
- Ryko SoftGloss MAXX
- D&S IQ
- Oasis BayWash i5
Just some suggestions.
Thank for this video but i find that there is no precision on tire to wash deeply in case of mud
So....... ima turn on my wipers. Wipe some of this soap off my car. It shouldn’t be there. ......
That car is immeculately clean before it arrived in bay
so what... he can make a car wash video without a dirty car can he not?
Looks like a pre-war prototype of a PDQ laser 360+ 😂😂😂😂
Cool!
I love carwashes this video was definitely cooler than the others
It's said that you shouldn't use a pressure washer on your car and then,..............................
Bill Pressure washing does not really hurt the paint. These systems usually only use about 800-900PSI. Some use more others less. If it was using about 2000 or more psi then you might have problems. But trust me these are safe for your car.
I use a 2000 psi pressure washer on my Jeep with a wide fan tip on the gun. Doesn’t hurt anything. This car wash is much safer for your paint then spinning brushes that can possibly have dirt on them from previous cars
Ram Runner Brushes don’t hurt the car. They are made with a closed cell material which cannot hold dirt or sand. It’s safe for your car or why else would they make a brush wash.
Austen Hernandez Those scratches probably were there before and you just noticed. I’m not sure if your taking your car to a nice wash because maintenance is a big factor in the safety of the vehicles washed. If it is well maintained then there’s a VERY low if not impossible chance the brushes would cause scratches.
That gantry drive gearbox sounds terrible
+Diamond Carwash it did.
+Diamond Carwash These older Touchfree Systems with T-Bars all have noisy gearboxes ,All of them make noises like that its completely normal. The newer Touchfrees like the Washworld Razor are belt drive so they don't make noises.
3:10 my favourite
Just another shitty automated washing system that delivers substandard results.
OK, went thru one of these a few years back and did OK, but as an old hand who worked on, installed California Equipment and Sherman Supersonic systems, pressure by itself is not always enough. Any time you have a chemical that is strong enough to remove bug guts, road grit, you can damage paint and molding. Anytime you have enough pressure to remove same, you can damage paint, peal molding off and yes, even license plates can get nailed. If a car is dirty enough, you do need at minimum a shaker curtain after a foam bath, maybe rocker panel brushes to help get the job done. I still prefer full service car washes and only use the robo washes in a pinch.
Yea looks interesting, I'd give it a go with my car and see how it does, mines not especially dirty but I live in rural south Australia, it's cowered in grime and dust, I'm not sure it would get that off BUT I'd give it a go. We have no mains water here so you decide do I go to the car wash, use rainwater, my only water supply or leave it dirty... my cars dirty a lot of the time lol :)
That arm look a little broken
Left mirror still has soap till this day 🤣

who turns their windshield wipers on mid car wash? you my friend make me go crazy
Running your wipers in the car wash pisses me off why
Its allowed on touchless washes
Sounds like Ryko thrust pro dryers. But i know they must be using PDQ Dryers. I know this aint a pdq laserwash. or else, Mark VII Dryers???? Idk im new to the car wash community.
I believe the are Washworld. I'm not quite sure.
About not liking touch-free's, keep in mind that the regular brush car washes have to clean other dirty cars, so its a 95% chance those brushes are dirty. Plus, with brushes spinning that fast, and hitting your car that hard, it'll ruin your car's paintwork over time. This way at least with touchless, the machine itself will be clean every time, and it doesn't have to hit ur car to clean it, making ur car look better for longer.
I recently watched an old Scotty Kilmer vid about car washes, so that's why I switched. There's nothing wrong with ur decision tho, though this is just why I chose touchless.
When it comes to car washes that were made in the past decade there is a very, very slim chance that it'll scratch. They invented technology called "Closed cell foam" or "Neo foam". Basically it's the material the brushes are made out of but they can't retain dirt at all. They just fling it away, using the lubricant from the soap and chemicals applied during the wash. Unless you're using a very, VERY old system your paint is safe!
@@southwestcarwashes learn something new today, legit didn’t know that car wash brushes are made out of different materials
@@AsianDrag0n There's so many different kinds it's insane, glad to know I helped you learn!
I like this typed of car wash with so nice and clean instead of brush typed.
That arm was running
Lol, looks like they had the wash programmed wrong for the under carriage wash.
+Long's Car Wash & More Channel I know that's weird someone has to reprogram it to do the under carriage instead of the HP pump feeding water to the spray arch.

Does Wash World still make the High Velocity Wash?
No. Washworld has discontinued the High Velocity Wash system, it has been replaced by the Razor System
We switched over the Razor quite a few years ago, but we have plenty of High Velocities still up and running. It's a great machine and a hard worker!
+Jarret Stroud Yeah ,I’m pretty sure they discontinued it in late 2016. It’s older technology compared to the advanced Revv ,Razor and Razor EDGE systems:

Not bad but how much?
This is just a ripoff of a laserwash 4000
Not really....
+Michael Walters Elevators, Roblox, and More I wouldn’t call it a rip off ,it’s more of an improved Laserwash 4000. The guys who actually originally designed the 4000 in the late 1980s are actually the owners of Washworld. So basically it’s technically their design ,but they wanted to improve it ,such as after the spray arch turns ,the bridge will immediately move ,on the 4000 it’s about 2 seconds after the arch turns that the bridge will move. Other improvements are the ability to control the wash and be able to check the status from the washview panel from a computer over an internet connection ,on the 4000 you wouldn’t be able to check on its status over a computer. So in conclusion ,the HV is just an improved LW 4000 ,and again Washworld was started by the guys who designed the 4000. But now ,the HV Is no longer manufactured (but is still supported and parts are still available). The reason is because they want to focus on the Revv ,Razor and Razor EDGE which are by far the best touchfree systems on the market.
what is the rate of this system
L
To clean what's original..
Power washes like this suck. And the light bar on the toyota sucks too.
I agree touch-free washes (some) suck. But not all.
Plus, I drive trough the country a lot. And the light bar helps. Along with LED Headlights.
@@windlockatc unfortunately touch free hardly works for me, my car is black. and if you are wise enough to know HOW to USE the lightbar then by all means, they work great. its just too bad that light bars are 'trendy' with high school kids and they often times love abusing its power. 😒
True, but I graduated high school 13 years ago, and know when the time is appropriate to use the light bar.
Most kids cannot take care of their vehicles too.
This product price amount...?
$12 for the works.
Can I name it please

Awesome video! Wash world is the best!
Noahimic Graphics No they are not
+Disney Fan They are basically all there systems are stainless steal ,PDQ used to be really good when the 4000 and M5 were still being manufactured ,but then they cheapened out when dover bought them in like 2011. The Laserwash 360 is made out of plastic so its a cheap system. There last solid system before PDQ was bought by dover was the Laserwash M5 which was a quality system which was stainless steel and fiberglass. But PDQ stopped manufacturing it in 2011 because of the Laserwash 360 development and limited employees to work on production for both systems.
Duderocks5539 The laserwash 360 is good
+Duderocks5539 Most 4000 systems are old, and not taken care of. Most in my area, with the exception of one (Circle K) don't work right. Th M5s are good systems, but The 360+ systems are my favorite IBA touch free system.
The fact the the 360+ is fully customizable, makes it an awesome IBA
Car Washes of Georgia Yep
Sir please this system price information
+M Salman Umar I do not own this system. So I would not know an exact cost.
+M Salman Umar Usually these systems cost around $100,000.
3:08 to 3:23 the machine sounds like a bagpipe interesting
The point of a spray wash is to avoid scratching your car. Imagine a Ford raptor in front of you at the wash whose just gone mudding. All those brushes and machines that “wash your car” just has sand and dirt embedded in it so the next persons car gets totally scratched. Will it look clean? Possibly yeah. But your gloss factor will go down cause of all the imperfections in the clear coat. This is simply made for a basic car wash for cars that aren’t severely dirty. I would choose this any day over a touch wash and just go home and take out any stubborn stains myself. At least in 4 years my clear coat will still be there...
I wouldn't spend one cent for such washing. Better to wash my car with a toothbrush. As in the army. At least I'll be sure the car is clean...
