They have a new soul that was supposed to be on the new Bernal Carbon free and can be seen in promo images for that skate as well as on these Gemini boots if you find some of the older promo pics. I think that soul plate will be coming soon.
Love you channel. You skate so so excellently man. Wow. I'm 54, getting back into it after a looong break. Just trying to make a decision on what to get. Thanks again, I liked all the videos of yours I have seen and even repeated many watches and downloaded alot as well. I have not commented though so please take this as an over all comment. You rock! Thanks again.
@@philipcook6191 thanks for watching! Take it slowly, VERY slowly and don’t rush to try and relearn everything. It’s a process. The more patient you are, the less likely you are to get injured.
They have one. It was made for the new Carbon Free but then it was too expensive for the South American markets - you can see it in promo shots of the last free AND Montre has it on these boots in a LOT of the gemini video.
4:43 Im still obsessed with the double tongue idea with skates. On my Salomon st70 back then I cut out my tongue off my Salomon grind shoe to have double tongue. I wanted to make sure it matched.
I'm on Iqon AG20 for a few weeks now, love them. And yes, USD VII soulplate. Biggest downside on this skate is that crappy buckle, that thing makes me loose it
I’ve got the eu43 ag20 and the eu41-43 Seba soul plate fits much better, there’s just a little gap around the big toe area but it fits the rest of the boot perfectly. The Seba soul is a bit narrower though.
@ I’m looking a lighter skates as my RB Blanks feel like my old Oxygen Argon’s 🤣 Would like to opt for the Aeon’s but my 275 mondo is between sizes or at the lower end of the 43-44 shell and that’s quite a big shell. From your experience would you say the AG15’s are one of the lighter skates on the market, comparable to the Aeon’s in weight or do they have a heavy feeling to them? Appreciate you haven’t weighed them but how did they feel in your hand compared to the Sway, Blanks, etc.
Those soul plates always look like that, I noticed it too. My homie skates Factions & Gawds & he shifts those soul plates between & they always look like that.. I can't stand the look of soft shell or that type skate, it takes all the steez out of your tricks, in my opinion.. Those skates sound dope though, I'm old & comfort is definitely a thing, maybe the main thing..
I bought them in 44 (my regular shoe size is 43). However, they fucked up my feets. I got blisters on my heels each time I wear them. I tried them in 43, but they were too small for me, so I selected 44 instead. Maybe I should have bought the 43. I might made a mistake.
@@wheelsceneblading word. im actually looking at the compass 80 mm setup. ive had little wheels for as far as i could remember. its pretty sick that theyre ufs too. its time for some draco malfoy rolling!!!!
ive had ag20's for couple of months. Can't stand the look of the old carbon soulplates on there. Got Faction stealth plates on order (God, please let them fit!)
I like the look of the sleeker/under the radar Ag10 more as well. I’m interested to see how an exposed carbon cuff holds up to impacts over the long term, carbon isn’t known to be the most impact resistant material. That would be an expensive spare part to purchase. Having to buy a new cuff with klarna doesn’t sound ideal
@@wheelsceneblading I've skated Bambrick carbons and those I think are flat. I liked em well enough. I did like the look of the OG usd carbon plates... never got to skate em. The bambrick I was loaned had the same plates those have. Personally never loved the look of those as much as the og carbon plate or even Sebas souls.
The look down on that soul gap would drive me crazy
Montre is skating his with omni souls, so I guess it bothered him too lol
For a “premium” skate brand it’s a bit of a let down

Gawds and Iqon need to make new soul plates for each boot instead of throwing the USD VII soul plate onto every single skate they make.
They have one. It was made for the new Carbon Free but then it was too expensive for the South American markets - you can see it in promo shots of the last free AND Montre has it on these boots in a LOT of the gemini video.
Agree
Your skating looked especially confident in these towards the end of the video. Great review!
They felt familiar straight away. I couldn’t find any fault in their performance in that regard.

USD sold add on tongues for the classic thrones back in the early 2000s. I still have my set.
@@BraveCustoms that is where I got my idea.
I’ve seen going one size down from stock on the souls cleans up the gap
Nice review. Thought these skates were pretty dope when announced so I'm glad they seem good.
Creates are some of the best frames to skate flat imo

There’s always a catch! Does the Seba plate screw into the boot though or is it clamped on with the UFS bolts?
@@wheelsceneblading Just clamped on with ufs bolts as the AG20 doesn’t have any additional screws holding the plates on.
@@Franz_giblet yeah, that’s definitely less appealing to me
Love the channel. What’s the weight with the frame and wheels?
@@lockdownlife9517 I don’t weight anything!

@ the Aeon and AG15 are both A LOT lighter than the Blank skate. The Aeon is the lightest out of the two, but the AG15 is not a heavy skate.
@ thanks!
Sheeesh. Such a great skate to get for free!!! I would love these. Sadly the price is TOO high. (For me)
They are a very expensive skate
Anyone skating gawds or iqon the fix for the soul plate is go down one size then it fits perfect

Did you try heat moulding the liners?
@@wheelsceneblading no how do you do that? I also have flat feet’s. Did you buy the same size as your regular shoes or 1 size bigger?
@@wheelsceneblading I just saw a howto video about that. Thanks for the hint. Do you use the same size for the skates as your shoe size?

wkat ya doin with them frames?

u werent skating anti rocker on your sway 58s?

Montre skates the Standard soulplate. FYI
In his promo there is definitely footage with him skating the stock soul plate.
You're correct, but check the footage from Crowder Power last week.
Black and white ones might suit you better
I think I prefer the cream colour way.
19:34 was really steezy.

I got factions soulplates on mine ag10, and they fit perfect 👌
@michaelsrensen1437 Thanks mate, that's good news

put adapt soulplates and they will be perfect

I hate how it looks in the toe area as far as how the soul fits. Another reason im stuck in cults.
It's a flat boot, so finding a different soul plate that works better is easy enough, but I get your point.

I love that skate but the price tag is just to much.
More De La Soul than Tribe. Definitely Native Tongues tho. 😊
Hated the 20 oversized and glorified carbon free imo 😂
And that market is 😂
that look down is god awful
I think a different soul plate would definitely solve that issue.
Had no idea this company even existed.
Wild if you blade you dont know Hornish or Livingston.
