Gotta love the banter after Emergencies. No matter if you're a soldier, medic, cop, etc. After the emergency there is always the banter, everyone needs to decompress a little and piece together the things that happened. It's great for mental health, knowledge and training.
I do understand why they were mad, but when someone is paranoid like that, they need to be restrained on something or a straight jacket. I actually know what this is like. Being paranoid like him, I have actually been hospitalized 3 times and diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder and social anxiety. If i dont take my meds, i go off the hinge. Like my anger is very bad, plus i do get delusional and paranoid. As for K2. It causes that. I can say that confidently. My boyfriend actually used to do the drug because his older brother talked him into doing it when he was a teen. It was messed up and my boyfriend is still messed up to this day from it. It can cause schizophrenia and psychotic episodes. My boyfriend has dealt with a lot like that and was in mental health facility, on and off which messed up him going to school. He had to drop out of school because of it. Its nothing to play with. I hope that man gets the treatment he deserves. Im not saying that what he did with the ambulance car was right. It wasnt. BUT, that female cop needed to talk to him calmly and not act mad or aggressive with him. That can send someone like that into an episode. Anything can trigger it. I hope that man is doing better though and on the right medicine
The first ambulance should have gave him something to calm him down for the ride so he could be checked out and evaluated...GOD BLESS EVERYONE ¡¡¡☆☆☆this all could've been avoided...❤
Well- the female cop WAS calm and very nice to him UNTIL she had to chase him when he stole the ambulance. As someone who has worked with lots of LE both civilian & military- if they have to chase you, there is no more calm & nice.
These kids yelling "snitch" when all he did was respond to a question asked by law enforcement. Hilarious what being behind a screen does to these people.

@kyleksr drug induced psychosis is EXTREMELY unpredictable. The drug already makes you feel invincible then you're paranoid and hearing shit but think you can destroy anything and everyone. Very very dangerous to deal with someone like that. Thank God he took flight and not fight
@@TheMorningDawnTMD they never got a freaking gun point out at their face. They probably saw worse injuries. But being faced down by a Barrel is scary
No reason? They were advised that someone stole an ambulance. Seems like a pretty good reason to stop one. It’s not like they’re as common as your run of the mill Corolla.
@@dabiri69lol what? The lady officer radiod that she was behind the stolen ambulance, so why would they pull over another one? Not to mention it’s a completely different ambulance style. Just incompetent.
So you have a person already acting eradictly and then you just wonder around all nonchalanlty after he runs off toward the gas station and don't think its a good idea to keep eyes on him or detain him?
Not a code blue cam, but a while back I watched some footage of cops chasing a suspect who stole a cop car, but the cops kept pitting each other on accident, and when they finally got the right car, the suspect ran and they sent a dog, but the dog started biting another cop, and then the dog took off towards the suspect but ran right past him, and the dog just started running in circles no clue what was going on.
"Did you do any other drugs?" "No" "Yep he did cocaine" 😂 I know his friend was just helping by being honest about what he took but I laughed when he just spilled the beans
Exactly. Never in the history of time has there been an honest addict. A lesson I learned early in life (unfortunately) but one that seems a lot of people never learn.
I mean, why shouldn't he? It's basically a welfare call. The cop isn't interested in what the guy took in order to make charges, but to find out what they're dealing with and how to help him.
@@Legoman775 Agreed about the EMS securing the vehicle, but the EMS units priority is to make sure the subject doesnt die. Its the officers responsibility to make sure the subject doesnt do anything stupid like steal the damn ambulance. The officer completely lost view of the subject (who she knew was drunk and high on cocaine) and therefore lost any control over the situation.
She’s yelling “get on the ground” and the dude is practically already burrowed down. He can’t get down any more Officer. It’s like that scene in Super Troopers when they’re yelling at the stoners to pull over and they’ve already pulled over. Mother of God!!
I was waiting for her to scare him back into the ambulance. The guy was unarmed, flat on his face surrendering, still nobody would approach the man who’s 4ft. from the ambulance he just stole.
As a former theater kid, someone needs to teach Police Officers how to project your voice without screaming 😅 My throat hurts just hearing that first officer screaming at the suspect.
At 7:53 he still lifted his chest off the ground and moved. Stop being such clueless moron and pretending officers shout uselessly. They keep shouting if the criminals move even a bit, or like in this case, clearly aren't on the ground fully but instead trying to get up.
This was the best video I've seen all day. That being said... We, as a country, do NOT treat our vets the way they deserve to be treated after they return home. And that's what leads to sad cases and wild stories like this.
It’s a tight knit department. You can hear in the end the guy was saying all he heard was her screaming on the radio about an ambulance. Cops/EMTs/Dispatchers are people too. They also eat, shit, laugh and cry, just without as much sleep as others can afford. They deserve a little more respect.
This has “An example of deputies NOT controlling a situation” training video all over it. They let the subject just walk all over and made no attempt to limit his movement, and he could have killed someone during his flight from LEO’s.
@@Daniel-S1 I mean I can’t completely blame him, he wasn’t given a proper description of the ambulance involved so he just pulled over the first one he saw
I'm impressed with the balance and suspension of that ambulance. Usually going off road, hitting a big dip, and bouncing like that breaks an axle or rolls them over even with the low, wide wheel base. Police and emergency vehicles really need kill systems that can be activated from a phone or from a central base for these kind of emergencies, they seem to happen fairly often.
@@orangeeel937 If the suspension isn’t high enough the ambulance would just be bumpier and a really rough ride for the patient. They should all have air suspension.
@@AlzMarioWolfe you’re right about that lol. Most ambulances are not gentle rides at all. The type 1s often have air ride now and are a much better experience for both the medic and patient. I have yet to see a type 3 (the one stolen in the video) with air ride.
He was having a psychotic break from k2 and meth and thought everyone was going to kill him and want to drive up to the police station thinking it would keep him safe and purposely stopped at the entrance….I highly don’t he had the intention of ramming the building to cause damage or bodily harm to anyone. He was losing his grasp on reality and scared
Stanley drank some beers and did some coke, but what happened next ain't no joke. He stole an aid car and bless his heart, he drove it hard but not very far. The cops chased Stanley to the courthouse door, if you liked this video subscribe for more!
I love how they scream get on the ground several times after the suspect is already on the ground. There needs to be better training on communication skills for law enforcement, I see way too many times they give directions that are just irrational and confusing.
Adrenaline will do that but she did switch it to stay on the ground rather quick, that higher shrill you hear is all the adrenaline dumping into her system
Pretty embarrassing for these clowns. Allows a guy to steal an ambulance. Pulls over the wrong ambulance. No clear communication between dispatch and the officers. Sloppy. This is straight up Reno 911.
At least Stanley didn't respond to any calls for EMS while he was playing paramedic. I can't imagine what the real paramedics must have been thinking when the police pulled them over and started pointing guns at them. And the one cop that pulled over Stanley's bus was screaming "get on the ground get on the ground get on the ground!" I'm sure Stanley was probably like "I'm already on the ground, do you want me to dig a hole?!" What a shit show!
it was "lay on the ground" at first after that it was "stay on the ground" AND if some other cop did yell get on the ground which i (probably not) missed, you need to add adrenaline as a factor.
"He then exited the ambulance and then dropped his azz without hesitation." The narrator has me cracking up. He's done that before in other videos too. All composed and then throws azz for shts and giggles! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
That lady cop screaming like a banshee, "YOUU SLUAYY ONN THE GROUUAHHN!!! DO YOU UNDERSTUANBDBDBDHD MEEEE!!??!??!??!!??" Yea lady... If that wasnt one of the classic verbal comands we were already anticipating, I dont think god himself would know what the heck ur screaming.. And thats a fantastic way to keep mr. Paranoia over here calm, compliant, and feeling good about letting y'all approach him... I understand the blood is pumping and your adrenaline is through the roof, but thats why we rely on u guys to have the proper training so you can maintain control over your emotions and de-escalate situations instead of Introducing MORE stress Into such a sensitive interaction...
I have never seen that many incompetent officers working together before. An ambulance was stolen in front of them and to add insult to injury their colleagues stopped the wrong vehicle. 🙄
well tbf the female cop was there on her own. the other cops just made a mistake in the heat of the moment. only problem i find is the lack of accountability on the cops who felony stopped the wrong ambulance didnt apologise or anything to the poor paramedics they held at gunpoint
Then they all fail to agree on how to make the arrest and shout different commands, and threaten the man multiple times even after he's been cuffed. Nothing but professionals in this field LOL

Ambulance should have a high suspension considering how much they’re weaving between vehicles usually.
@@AlzMarioWolfeidk how you think we drive ambulances but it’s not that aggressively. Gotta make it to the scene first
