Well as always, use the right tool for the job.
Honeycomb is for very small or flexible pieces while the barcode grid is for stiffer, larger pieces and also better for cutting

Mate im loving the videos and abput to pull the trigger on an 80w. Questions though, did you see the models that have inbuilt water cooler with reservoir? Im not sure if they had them when you purchased yours however if they did, is there any reason you didn't choose those models?
Also wondering how fine the details are in the finest work you might have done so far?

Hey mate, thanks for that, I didn’t realise some came with the inbuilt water cooler when I purchased mine in fact I had no idea until in conversation just a couple weeks ago with one of my subscribers and they mentioned there 100w machine had an inbuilt water tank although if I had preference I still would have gone with an external water tank/chiller as with anything the more built in the more chance of problems I figure,
As far as detailed work I’m yet to do something with very fine as in cutting out but I can assume it would do just fine once dialled in with good beam alignment these things are very very precise 🤙🏽
      Thanks for watching mate,
      Cheers, Matt

Hey mate, yeh you do but it’s very very minimal compared to the honeycomb in most cases barley even noticeable 🙂

I got some on Amazon for about $2 each. You can also do something similar by glueing some nails or tacks pointy end up on a board.
