People that watch this video won’t understand half of your technical descriptions of the engines. Unless for normal folks that want to know more about the A5.
I have a 2018 model. In my opinion/experience: Best looking in the class (BMW 4 series and Merc). A4 is very plain looking so for that reason, this is a much better option. It’s fantastic off the line, and quicker to 100km than the others - especially in the wet where other rwd cars bog down with the traction control going to work. It’s lovely inside as you’d expect (not sure how it compares to BMW or Merc.- maybe Merc is better?) BUT…It understeers TERRIBLY. forget about handling as this is not the car for that. This car just wants to push the front wheels straight on past any apex. It pulls really well coming off corners, but the under steer is really bad. It’s also lacking in torque at higher speeds (80km/h+), but apparently a stage 1 tune really improves this (0-60 time drops from 5.6 to 4.8ish and torque improves significantly.) Finally, I love how silent this car is. You look good without those stupid clown pops and bangs (unless you want them with an exhaust upgrade). Don’t do that. You’ll ruin this nice car.
An Arteon in frilly knickers - Not worth the extra cash for an (upmarket - really?) badge! Plus you don’t get that horrendous afterthought touch screen
@@nunyabidify I shall try, but to me its very subjective, and usually my opinion is contrary to everybody else's in almost every respect. I dont necessarily say they are bad cars. I just dont like what they look like. Except maybe for the RS7. I feel they dont have any personality whatsoever, all those soft limiters for revving, all those touch screens inside for the A8 etc...plus they get their asses kicked in almost any drag race against equivalents of BMW and Merc. They feel disconected from everything and the design is hideous for me.

The frameless doors really sucks in the winter time. It freezes and won’t close.
