Running on your own in terrible weather is a super power chloe! It makes you mentally strong as if you can run in those conditions you can run in anything. I did my 9 mile long run on Saturday in storm Bert- 4 miles into the wind then 5 miles back with the wind behind me- I absolutely flew!
There's something about getting stuck into a new block that is really motivating! Haha I'm already done with the cold weather, I don't want any more snow 😅
Great job keeping it going through all of that, Chloe! What's interesting about your channel to me is that you keep crushing your goals on conventional but incredibly consistent training, which puts you in very select company. Gimmicks aren't worth much if they don't do what they're supposed to do. And I was amused to see the comments about winter running building character while I wondered which warm, idyllic place you'll be travelling to for the rest of the year. Running is hard enough already, and I think there's a point in life where our character should be developed to its full potential. There's no need to keep punishing ourselves after that.😁I see that you're in Valencia now. Is Ben running the marathon? I'll be looking for him in the results. All the best!
Thank you!! Haha whilst it never hurts to build resilience through running in tough conditions I agree that if it can be avoided then it should be 😂 Entering Spanish races is a great way to plan some Winter escapes! Yes we're currently in Valencia for Ben's marathon, fingers crossed it goes okay as unfortunately the past few weeks have brought some niggles along.
Hat’s off to you for running in those strong winds. I personally like your conventional training. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it, as they say. Which Saysky jacket are you wearing about 5 mins in? The kaki or grey one in the snow.

Winter running is character building for sure! Kudos to you for braving storm Bert too! Thanks for watching
I just love the start of a new training block. I'm fairly sure you really like UK winter training as well 😅

Good job getting in the training despite the weather!
Thanks Jay! I hope you’re well!
It's even worse when you're running in that weather in the dark after work. Definitely character building.
Oh I bet! Kudos to you for getting it done

Thank you! Yes as long as it works, why change. The jacket is the Clean Pace Shield!
@ awesome, thanks :)
