You are wrong Carl. Khelif is a biological male. He was born with a vagina so registered at birth and raised as a female. However he is DSD (differences in sex development) with internal testies and XY chromosomes which effectively make him a biological male. Even though his genitalia is that of a female, he does not have a womb or ovaries. He failed IBA tests not because he’s trans but because he’s a biological male with normal male levels of testosterone. Simple tests by the IOC would have avoided this situation, for Khelif. Biological males should never be allowed to fight biological females. Irrespective of genitals. the IBA aren’t one for releasing lies about their competitors. Khelif qualified for the gold medal match at the tournament, held by the International Boxing Association (IBA) but was excluded when organisers had found she possessed the male XY chromosome and elevated testosterone levels following a DNA test. SHe had the DNA test , it’s public record, it has the XY chromosome . It’s super rare , but at the end of the day anyone with the XY chromosome and the benefit that comes with that shouldn’t be competing against biological woman , especially when it comes to boxing.
XY chromosomes aren‘t super rare, about 50% of the population have it! They are called MEN. Khelif might have a DSD, but after going through male puberty, the female assignment at birth should have been revised, after male features emerged and the period failed to show up. It‘s not that hard!

@@jonathanbailey1597 The International Boxing Association’s confirmed that she had XY chromosomes and so did eligibility criteria to compete as a woman. The IOC ignored that.
Khelif has tested to have XY Chromosomes, Khelif was brought up as a female, but is actual fact a male, he/she has testicles that are inside the pelvis… the problem we have today is some medical professions with a particular narrative are trying too muddy the waters with biology and suggest otherwise, Khelif went through male puberty and has already tested for elevated testosterone, and subsequently was disqualified from the world boxing championship. The Olympic Committee are being deliberately provocative using the only criteria of being a female fighter, is if your passport states you are female… well just about anyone can do that now.
With all due respect Sir, the fact that Imhane Khelif has ( allegedly, because the test results have not been disclosed) an xy karyotype does'nt mean necessarily she is a male. At birth the doctor snd the authorities assigned rher the female gender. That means she had and has female genitalia. There are more than 40 conditions where the phenotype does'nt reflect the xy or xx genotype. Under the Swyer and Morris sindromes for instance, the person has almost complete female reproduction structures ( vagina, uterus, cervix, fallopian tubes, but not functioning ovaries) but a xy karyotype. These women do not produce eggs but can become pregnant with a donated egg. They are women since men can not get pregnant. Conversely, there are some syndromes where the person has male genitalia but a xx karyotype.
IBA tested Khalif last year and it’s xy not xx. They also found higher levels of testosterone and greater muscle mass, hence not being allowed to box at the world championships.
They never showed proof and refused to name how they tested her and has since then been discredited. The Olympics has requirements for female athletes to have certain testosterone levels and test regularly. None of the accusations have been proven .

In a sport that’s been eroded by social media this lad is the best out there. In over sixty years of me watching the sport he delivered the best knockout (in his second fight with Groves) that I’ve ever seen. He’s not only a true warrior but a legend in the game, he fought anyone, anywhere and when I see some of the negative comments on social media about him I shake my head in disbelief! We live in an era were an ‘influencer’ is being paid millions to fight a nearly sixty year old man and the ‘fans’ treat it like it’s the real deal, that’s how much the sport’s been devalued. This lad is the genuine article and the tenacity and honesty he showed in the ring shines through in every one of his episodes! Top man!
I think you need to understand the facts before commenting 😂 X+Y is man. It’s not a woman. Just because you’re “raised” a girl doesn’t mean you are. I think you need to get your facts straight, Carl 😂
05:28, with respect Cobra you need to get your facts straight & you might need to make a follow up vid to clear this up! The main circulating allegedly credible info is that this athlete is a biological male as has been previously tested to have XY chromones (biological male) & banned in previous female competitions that has not transitioned but rather has been raised as a female since birth. This athlete allegedly had their gender incorrectly assigned at birth & their birth certification says female due to their male genitals not developing in the womb correctly rather resulting in a inverted penis & testicles leading to incorrect assignment as a female. It allegedly wasn't until puberty that their genitals started to develop correctly & it became certain to their parents that they had raised their child as the wrong sex although they may have had concerns prior to puberty. There doesn't seem to be any credible data that this athlete has used any type of gender therapy such as estrogen but rather just tries to present themselves as female despite having no breast tissue or wide hips etc due to being raised as female. I sympathise to a certain degree as the assignment by the medically trained was essentially malpractice & they should sue for psychological damages etc but that doesn't excuse them knowing that they are male for a long time yet still insisting on gaining a drastically significant unfair advantage over biological females in competition! In regards to unusually high but natural hormones in humans such as high testosterone in genuine XX chromosome (biological females), if it is natural then it is unethical to suppress this & they obviously should be allowed to compete as where do we draw the line? Height is a major potentially unfair advantage too but there is only sex & weight categories not height categories yet very tall people genetically have unusually high levels of growth hormones during puberty, which under this unethical practice would mean Tyson fury would not be able to compete at heavyweight as he is unusually tall & the superheavyweight category would need to be reinstated. Also other athletes like former WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev who was over 7ft tall would have to have their achievements removed from their records! What would the heavyweight height limit be 6ft 5", 6ft 6"? Do we cap the intelligence levels too, of unusually highly intelligent athletes with forced dumbing medications as that is a significant advantage against low/average IQ opponents,? Capping natural HGH development, natural test, intelligence etc is bananas as would open the flood gates to unethical practices of suppressing athletes natural genetics potentially causing medical harm & resulting in ridiculous amounts of categories of competition, medical harm lawsuits etc resulting in the destruction of sport as we know it!
Exactly and IBA can't release confidential medical records. Don't forget Lia Thomas when she was finishing a full length of an olympic swimming pool ahead of fellow swimmers, she started losing all of a sudden.
My only hang up with it is if she has an extra chromosome then should she be fighting women that don't have that? She has an advantage over the entire field and that goes against fair play in my mind
People used their eyes which were telling us that if nothing else, this boxer has absolutely taken testosterone. Go look at female body builders before and after photos. Almost all of them look like men. However, it also isn't uncommon for if a child is born with underdeveloped sex organs to give the parents the option to give their child reassignment surgery. So Imane Khelif may very well have been raised as a woman, but rumor has it that Imane Khelif has XY. If you look at just body composition Imane Khelif does have almost all traits of a male and hardly any of a female. Finger length ratios, hips, facial structure, shoulder width, walking movement etc.

Maybe because of her condition, she shouldn’t be allowed to compete in boxing but give the poor woman some respect everyone. Even for people who don’t agree with transgenderism, this isn’t that. She was born as a female and raised as a female and the abuse towards her is absolutely disgusting.
Not quite accurate Carl, Khlif was DNA tested and has xy chromosones, which is basically male. They were not tested for testosterone by all accounts. Khalif may well have been brought up as a female, but females do not have xy chromosones.
This is COMPLETELY WRONG, he is not a biological female Carl, The IBA have said publicly now that Khelif has XY chromosomes, therefore she was NOT born a female - The IOC said that he was "born a woman", but they were incorrect, they later amended their statement to concede that Khelif has XY chromosomes. In the World Championships last year Khelif, after being disqualified from the final, did not appeal the decision - that itself was a concession of the athlete having XY chromosomes....Froch should post another video admitting he was wrong...
Stop lying they have not said she has XY nor has any test been done. Again the misinformation on the internet is disgusting. The only test done was by some dodgy non-sanction Russian outfit and it did not say she was XY, no test has been done, nor did they provide the results. Don't tell people they are wrong without looking deep in to the facts.
Fair play Carl, yourself and Tony Jeffries actually tackled this issue with a level head and got the information instead of abusing the girl without actually checking if she’s trans or not like so many people have done in the last two days
I think they are trying to cover it up… they keep talking about passports., she’s a female on her passport. Why they talking about passports, if that’s a real woman? If that’s a woman then there’s no controversy
It's likely some in society believe men can't protect their women! And so continuing to prove that theory seems to be the point... This won't be the end of this topic since there are many other female sports to conquer.
This stupid situation should never have been allowed to happen. The IOC should be ashamed of themselves for putting female boxers in danger of serious injury. Male or female identity is straightforward to test, and they will be either X or Y. If Y they are male no matter what is stated in their passports. I cannot understand how the IOC have let this happen, not only is it dangerous but it's also grossly unfair to the female competitors. The Olympics used to stand for honesty, sportsmanship, and fairness in sports competitions. If the IOC want to let Transgender competitors compete then they should form a third group and let them compete against other transgender competitors. I will not be watching any future Olympics as they have totally lost my respect for the organization.
It’s reported that IBF has stated that person had xy chromosome and therefore is a man. Apparently he failed eligibility test before with ibf to compete in women’s boxing

It's not ok for Castor to use that unfair advantage of naturally occurring testosterone to win races. It is ok however for people to use that unfair advantage of naturally occurring excessive testosterone to beat the crap out of women. How does that NOT make sense?
Both the fighters in question have failed tests to prove biologically they are women. The IOC though is to blame for letting biological men compete in boxing. Being a woman on your passport or living as a woman does not make a person a woman. It's possible they could have Swyer Syndrome where a person can have XY chromosomes but outwardly female appearance however people with this syndrome cannot produce oestrogen or testosterone, so that would cause another controversy as regards testosterone levels because they would have had to have artificially been given testosterone at higher levels and then they could not claim to be exclusively living as women. The IOC needs to test athletes to prove they are the biological sex they are competing under. That ends all debate because the findings will be that both of these boxers are actually men.
Imane has been boxing for years Carl. Everyone knew she was in the competition and could have objected ahead of time. Fun fact she was beaten by Ireland's Kellie Harrington at Tokyo and Amy Broadhurst at the World's. Maybe they are made of atronger stuff than the Italian??
Imane Khelif is not an elite boxer, he would never qualify for the olympics fighting other XY-fighters. You and me probably would also lose to Amy Broadhurst, that doesn't mean we're women.
Carl, you've raised the key point. Massive social media pile-on has ASSUMED a male transitioned to female - imagine how this athlete must feel given that isn't true? Yes, there are still arguments over whether the athlete realises it might be unfair, but the rules are there. Fair play for doing your homework and alerting people to a few facts, you're not only about bants and AJ wind-ups.
There are quite a few cases over the years of female athletes with Swyer Syndrome (xy chromosomes). Caster Semenya is a good example. She was made to take testosterone reducing medication before she was allowed to compete. She has written a book about it and how degraded she was made to feel. In my opinion, if you are born with a condition, that shouldn't stop you from being allowed to compete. We are always looking for super human efforts in sport (that are not enhanced by drugs), then one comes along with that ability, and we criticise them.
He doesn’t know the percentage of how much ‘more’strength men have relative to a woman. But he does know that whatever that incremental strength is, men are stronger and faster 99% of the time.

They have been taught a great lesson if they mocked Islam instead of Christianity......still we say forgive them father because they don't know what they r doing....
Just because someone has a wide back, doesn't determine their sex. Have you seen the backs on the female swimmers? Are you calling all the female swimmers at the Olympics men?
Well said, Carl. She's a strong woman, so she has an advantage when it comes to sport. Khelif is 25, she's been competing in women's boxing for several years. She is world class (obviously), but she is a long way from invincible. In the world championship she has twice been beaten in the early rounds (by women), and once in the final (by a woman), and she has also been beaten in the Olympic quarter final (by a woman). This issue is not about gender or biology or chromosomes - it's political. The IBA are at loggerheads with the IOC. There were no Russian boxers at the Olympics.

If you look at just body composition Imane Khelif does have almost all traits of a male and hardly any of a female. Finger length ratios, hips, facial structure, shoulder width, walking movement etc.

Both the fighters in question have failed tests to prove biologically they are women. The IOC though is to blame for letting biological men compete in boxing.
Being a woman on your passport or living as a woman does not make a person a woman.
