    I love how you made the snakes feel like they were on a actual floor of a forest with actual leaves and other such substrate.
    I hate how I see paper towel or fake mesh substrate with 1 hide and a food dish.
    Thank you for giving your reptiles nice cages that make them feel safe instead of the rack systems in reptile rooms you usually see.
    I COMMEND YOU, Earned a Sub. :D

    Don't worry, I am on top of things :). Gilas are asleep in the morning, I can leave their doors open all day if I want to. And nothing terrible will happen even if they decide to take a stroll out. Would never leave any door open with the snakes though.

    Thanks for the comment. I am huge fan of Cobras and Death Adders, but the mother of this girl may be the most beautiful snake I have ever seen. Light specimens are truly spectacular snakes. When I am back in the other side of the pond, I will surely go and visit these guys in their natural habitat.

    Thank you very much for your comment. I try my best to provide them all the positives that nature provides and I believe snakes do benefit from this. I also research their native temperature range and try to imitate it as much as I can on a monthly basis. The responsibility of keeping a wild animal should not be taken lightly.

    I love snakes but dnt think I could ever keep a venomous one not that I dnt like them, my fav snake is probably a monoculed cobra but jus the thought of one tag n that could be it :-/ I could deal with a Gila. They're awesome. Anyway really cool collection buddy.

    • @Najakeeper
      @Najakeeper  10 років тому +1

      cyril vamp There are a lot of rear fanged snakes like hognoses with very mild venom. False water cobras are a great example.

    • @Najakeeper

      Most people who own venomous snakes avoid handling them, for obvious reasons. A python bite will bleed and then heal up, a venomous snake bite will put you in hospital/possibly kill you.

    • @Najakeeper
      @Najakeeper  10 років тому +1

      Jarred Sand Noon Quite accurate. We do touch our snakes, there are safe teqniques like tailin etc. but free handling is irresponsible IMO.
