Hello, Thank you for the information. It was really helpful. I am an FY1 and I am esp interested in intensive care. Do I also go through the ACCS anesthetics pathway?
Intensive Care Medicine does not have its own core training programme but instead accepts trainees from the following core programmes: Acute Care Common Stem (Internal Medicine, Anaesthetics and Emergency Medicine) (ACCS) Core Anaesthetic Training (CAT) Internal Medicine Training (IMT)
Medic here currently doing mrcp. Interested in applying for accs anaesthesia. Any suggestions how can i explain this to interviewers if i go accs anaesthesia?
@@BK0408 - as a medic u could apply for ST3 Intensive care, but if u want to go via accs you would have to show commitment to anesthesia. Do some courses on airway, ultrasound, get some taster sessions. Prepare well for msra, accs highly competitive now.

Can indian without a plab get in through the same pathway
You would need gmc registration beforehand inorder to get into any job or training in UK.
