36:55 I think what set Jane/El off to violent retaliation was the fact Angela the bully mentioned her dad again, for the second time. Hop is the only true father-figure for El, the only important family member after her biological mom, who left her early in life. What happened in the rink was shock & awe. Sometimes a victim may put up with turmoil inflicted on to themselves, but wouldn't tolerate loved ones being targeted similarly.
FYI, the Prison Guard, Enzo, also played "The Faceless Man" in Game of Thrones. I suppose that's probably where you know him from. In other words, A Man finally got a name
"Why aren't they the town cops?!" lmao, it's amazing how good writing makes it believable that a bunch of untrained kids can solve mysteries and save the world while the cops are still scratching their heads
In fact, the events in this series take place on March 22 and from the first season we learned that March 22 is Will's birthday. It makes the situation twice as sad knowing that everyone ignored him.
This is the era of "The Satanic Panic" where churches and political organizations were coming out against D&D, as in the article that Eddie was reading from in Episode One.
Whoever played Angela did a fantastic job because I honestly couldn't stand her I was screaming at the TV and I was so happy she got a roller skate to her face she totally deserved it!
Given Mike and Wills reactions, I'd really love to ask the Duffer Brothers if they thought the audience would react that way as well. Cause nooone of us did lol
I mean it makes sense that the gang know more than the cops, outside of hopper the cops of Hawkins don't know the kind of shit that has gone down in that town, so the cops are unknowingly operating with the wrong assumptions, while the kids had more information from the start. also barb ran away remember? the cops found her car at a bus stop, so assumed she'd run away, there's no suspicion that she was killed except by hopper who knows the truth, and that was what, 2 years ago now?
Back in the 80's there was ONE big story about a D&D player that had a psychotic break and blurred reality with the game. Since mental illness was not really talked about then, pretty much everyone started blaming D&D for everything bad anti-social people did. Which really doesn't make sense since D&D is a VERY social game.
I'm glad El stood up for herself. Maybe not with a skate. But being bullied and this whole school thing was new to El, so she didn't really know how to handle these type of situations. Me being bullied myself, I didn't take up for myself right away until i finally got tired of it. So I don't put any blame on El for how or when she took up for herself. If anything Will should've stopped El and been like no don't go out there. This is going to end badly. Since he knew what was going on.
*Has been teased about it for the past few seasons, Mike makes comment about Will not liking girls last season, El theorizes Will likes someone and that the painting is somehow related to it, Will seems to want to give the painting to Mike but changes his mind last minute, Will becomes immediately unhappy once Mike starts paying attention to El* You could have a bright clown trying to sneak around in the middle of the night during a stealth mission and THAT would have more subtlety. And the funny part is, people still seem to deny that Will likes Mike
Sorry but it’s bothering me how you know about the Creel house this early in Season 4. It hasn’t been referenced yet. Can’t remember if it was in any of the trailers, but I’m guessing so. Can you reconcile this for me please before I lose my sanity lol. 😊
Jonathan's hubris here... Thinking Nancy would change her life plans for him... Ugh they ruined his character this season. I love this season but they did Jonathan dirty just turning him into a pothead punchline.
Sorry but she deserved it. Sure violence isnt the answer but Angela tormented El, humiliated her, was disrespectful about her missing dad, and then expected no consequences. All that rage builds up especially in a young girl who is not by any means like other kids. So yeah I'm with her shhmacking Angela with a skate

Enzo is the faceless man in game of thrones

Ell really said: “You don’t f*ck with my family!”
Most satisfying hit ever. I cheered when she clocked her lol. That actress who played Angela was terrific!
FYI, the Prison Guard, Enzo, also played "The Faceless Man" in Game of Thrones. I suppose that's probably where you know him from.
In other words, A Man finally got a name
🤣 you beat me to it.
oh wow righttt! he looks so different and with the accent too
A man must bribe his way out of prison.
Except he didnt lol they call him Enzo but thats not his actual name
"Why aren't they the town cops?!" lmao, it's amazing how good writing makes it believable that a bunch of untrained kids can solve mysteries and save the world while the cops are still scratching their heads
Speak for yourself, I find it very believable that cops are no help whatsoever
Imagine thinking cops are ever smart and helpful.
The cops in this town are written like kindergartners no wonder Hawkins is so fucked
In fact, the events in this series take place on March 22 and from the first season we learned that March 22 is Will's birthday. It makes the situation twice as sad knowing that everyone ignored him.
It was just a coincidence lol the creators didn’t mean for it to be wills bday
I mean you're technically right, but the writers apparently forgot it was his birthday, so that shouldn't *really* count in this case.
Okay, the creators screwed up, but it's still sad
@@ifyouresad...8728 why is it sad if they already said they’re just going to change his birthday because they forgot they had already used that date?

The guy who played Enzo was in GOT, might be where you recognise him from :)

I legit cheered when El hit Angela 👍
Given Mike and Wills reactions, I'd really love to ask the Duffer Brothers if they thought the audience would react that way as well. Cause nooone of us did lol
You said the prison guard, Enzo, looked familiar. He should he was Jaqin H'ghar from Game of Thrones.
Both of your comments are like my inner thoughts when stoned 😂
this is my first time watching all and immediately i felt like i was watching with my homies ! 💕💕 love the reactions, much love.
You guys are very good at this! Rewatching with you know... This season is "off the charts"!
i cant explain how much joy i get when i watch your videos
Growing up. Adults were hardly ever at the rink. We were doing the most. Adults only came on adult nights but that was the 90s
the crazy thing is that satanic panic and anti d&d stuff was a genuine thing back then, tom hanks even starred in a a film about it back then
Eddie's Uncle is also Enoch from Agents of Shield. great actor

And music of course....
Yeah I doubt that's an actual one pinpointed story or that you could point to the story. It's too easy to say and not know where it came from. Right.
"she really shouldn't have" LOL, love your reactions

"palm tree delight is gonna make you right" wise words 👽🤣
New sub from Vancouver Island. Really enjoy your reactions🙂👍
What is in Murry's bag is the 1980s version of a laptop computer.

There were no adults in the eighties. Just teenagers. ;)
"where have I seen that guy?"
Me: Who?
MAC: "The guard."
Me: He's noone. That Man has no name.
Not anymore, a man is Enzo.
@@aaronboone8097 negative, this man is Dimitri.
Enzo appears in Game of Thrones :D
Nancy is a reporter lol
School reporter lol not a real one.
Enzo has no name
I normally say violence isn't the answer, but Angela deserved what she got. $sorrynotsorry
16:40 Mike is about as dumb as his dad sometimes.
Hell on earth is a TV show high school.
The painting was for Mike.
A guard doesn’t have a face.
Yall have the intro music on YT, js
*Has been teased about it for the past few seasons, Mike makes comment about Will not liking girls last season, El theorizes Will likes someone and that the painting is somehow related to it, Will seems to want to give the painting to Mike but changes his mind last minute, Will becomes immediately unhappy once Mike starts paying attention to El*

Valar Morghulis
There is a new skating rink in my city and I SWEAR its ran by teenagers😭 they had like a 10 year old controlling the music and everything
Will really bug me in these first couple episodes he didn't even try to help out 11!
The many face god..
Actually, when Hopper jumped, he went through the portal over to the Russian side of it
Sorry but it’s bothering me how you know about the Creel house this early in Season 4.
It’s crazy how so many people are perfectly fine with El bashing a person’s face in.
Angela deserved it.
She bullied Eleven for a whole year and destroyed her mentally for absolutely no reason.
Ikr?it's weird,if she had slapped it would be understandable ,but with a skate is waaaay too much
Sorry but she deserved it. Sure violence isnt the answer but Angela tormented El, humiliated her, was disrespectful about her missing dad, and then expected no consequences. All that rage builds up especially in a young girl who is not by any means like other kids. So yeah I'm with her shhmacking Angela with a skate
It’s crazy how you’re annoyed that Angela who was psychologically and emotionally abusing and tormenting had finally received consequences.
oh no, she got a cut on her nose for constantly bullying a girl about her dead father.
I know which is worse (hint: it's not what 11 did)
This season is awesome, can’t wait for you guys to do episode 4
