Def Jam Fight for NY 7th Story Mode Playthrough - Part 2 (HARD DIFFICULTY & 100% TROPHIES)

- There was this clown who labelled me as an Anti-Asian simply because I beat up Masa 'waaay too hard' in my previous playthroughs. I'm sure he didn't know that I was trying to get that '25 Grapple Moves Trophy' and '5 Blazin' Trophy'. I usually do both of these trophies during Masa's match because of his AI behaviors. Masa likes to grapples and all I need to do is just counter 'em. In this playthrough, I already got these two trophies in the first part (that first FFA at the SYN Powerplant). So, I don't need to do it in the 2nd part like I always do...and I honestly don't need 'that kind of clown' again either.

I liked the fact when Skull punched you in the cutscene you lost a little health but you kicked his butt during the gameplay without him even touching you. win win.

Yoo ! I’m glad your doing playthroughs again one question do you have any tips for beginners who play def jam ffny ?
Sharpening your defense first by practising block and timing your counters. Memorising every fighter's moveset and behavior in this game will help you too. You don't need to counter all attacks. If you can't predict those AIs' next moves, at least block those attacks. Also, don't mash punches and kicks, those AIs' love to punish you for that. Please do a lot of combos like Big Pimpin', Cash Money, Holla Back, Lights Out etc for your momentum. Memorise those combos, there are not that many anyway. Rash did a great job compiled every combo ( ua-cam.com/video/JDVRWTvfSbM/v-deo.html ). Lastly, be unpredictable by combining your strikes and grapples/strong strikes. Punch + Punch + Grapple, Kick + Kick + Hard Strikes etc. Don't mash Punches and Kicks, it will not help you that much. If this doesn't work, you have to play defense.
That's all the pointers that I can give. Have fun playing the game.

Wait. This is the Steve Build. I freakin love this build, the down punch light grapple I believe is the double powerbomb which stuns and does good damage. The back light grapple is one of the best leg submissions in the game iirc and somehow despite not having KB the build has KB kick strings. GOATED build imho.

Random question. What do you think of this moveset?
This fighting style has chain stun movesets with 'em quick grapples 25:40 - 26:00 and you gonna see I'll be spamming those a lot in this playthrough. Most of it's Submission movesets are Leg Submissions, I'm not a fan of 'em compared to Head and Arm Submissions but it has at least one Arm Submission 35:40. I hate the hard grapple haymakers because it has only three when it supposed to have five. Up + Down Haymakers are the same. Hard Kicks are not that good because they are punishable. If Crack block and then proceeds to quick grapple that dropkick 49:15, say goodbye to that Perfect Match bonus. I can't do Hard Kicks + Running Grapples like I usually do because these kicks aren't meant for that and this style is slooow. So far, I only could find 1 good string, Analog + KKK. This styles' PPP are just plain sucks 13:28 - 13-31. There should be more strings that I could exploit with this styles, gimme time.
I consider Kickboxing + Streetfighting + Wrestling is the 'Big Bro' for this style but this is just my opinion.
@@MrNoob-wc3hv kickboxing+ (streetfighting & wrestling) hits like a truck. It's my favorite fighting style that starts with kickboxing.
What mod themes you have and what they songs replaced?
It has Biggie's Hypnotize, DMX's Who We Be, CNN's People Knows, Busta Rhymes' Call The Ambulance, Eric & Rakims' Juice (KnowTheLedge), this Bossman track at Babylon etc. It's a lot, man. Gotta give props to the modder.

This score penalty is nonsense. You beat the living daylights out of every opponent you came across. To the point where you had way more points than I'd seen anyone ever get in this game.

Mr.Noob need to be at a Def Jam Evo an yes they actually have a Def Jam FFNY EVO matter of fact they had one last year.
In my opinion, Streetfighting, Wrestling+ Submission is one of my least favorite Fighting Styles for Created Characters mainly because You can't fully use the wrestling moves and it has mainly leg submissions. My other least favorites are Kickboxing, Streetfighting+Martial Arts, Submission, Martial Arts+Streetfighting, and Martial Arts, Submission+Streetfighting. But good playthrough either way.
