Some corrections : Daigo did win D1 Championship in Mark II but that's 2008, his champ car got burned down around 2013/14 which is why he built this one
Daigo use this car in his 2nd championship winning season in 2016 but only for two round as he switched to "more docile" JZX100 Chaser for the rest of the season

Well if memory serves he went to the more "Docile" JZX100 because D1GP banned this one. To my knowledge this JZX has been basically outlawed in almost every series due to the style of build it is.
A similar incident happened a few years back with his Second Corvette. Where D1 Nailed him for something with the engine/hood was on the car. I don't quite remember the details but he stopped using the Corvette after that as well. I think he even missed a round because of it because it was dropped in the middle of an Autopolis round during inspection or something.

I mean the thing weighs under 1000kg's which is fking absurd for a car that size. How he pulled THAT magic trick off I'll never know.
Front midship mounted engine, huge tires, 1,200hp, and light weight. Deadliest of combo's.
Sadly now it can only be used as a museum piece. : (

That’s not the same car he won his championship in and did the crazy jump drift. That chassis was lost in a building/warehouse fire. Off of Saito’s property. The one you see here is v2 and it’s over a 100 kgs lighter than the 1st one.
Exactly this is the one he fully built himself with engine mounted further back
Understood, but I meant the model of the car, anyway, it's a jzx100. But the fact that this is the V2, I did not know.
