While in Afghanistan, my friends gave me a piece of cake with a particular taste and feel. I found out it was cardamon, and that is how I became enamored with cardamon. Not only I started to use it for cooking, but started to think that it would make a great fragrance. Thank you for providing this list. I am ordering samples of all of them, I simply love the smell of cardamon (and Middle East food as well, by the way!).

I love Histoires de Parfum 1969 with peach , cardamom, patchouli.... Also Stora Skuggan Moonmilk tea, cardamom, sandalwood.... also, I would love to see a video about fragrances marketed to men that are eminently unisex. Thanks again for all your great content.

I used to own Hypnose about 20 years ago! The bottle is indeed a masterpiece but I must admit that I was never really too excited about the juice, to say the least. Maybe I was just too young to appreciate it, it was sooooo long ago.
Intoxicated by kilian and Layton, my top cardamom, I added Daarej by Rasasi, I'm getting a good dose of Cardamom, love it, bought 3 bottles. Intoxicated should be on this list bro.

Have you tried African Leather by Memo Paris? I'm curious to hear your thoughts about it and am seriously thinking about getting it in the near future.
Man I just got a bottle of hypnose at a store for 50 bucks at the mall, I swear I tried every fragrance there and that one stood out so much the girl behind the counter kept saying "yeah but that lancome was really good, I keep thinking about it."

Cardamom can be too strong for me with some fragrances. I like Layton but even in Layton - the cardamom slightly bothers me. I’m actually just realizing that most of my fragrances which I’ve purchased and later sold all had cardamom in them ( Layton and Oud Wood included ) 😐. I’m actually glad Max made this video, so I know what fragrances I shouldn’t bother getting to know.

I ordered Bel Ami last week and just got it Friday, now its a different looking bottle from the ones online so i imagine they may have tinkered with the formulation but its fantastic!! Its a very elegant spicy/woody/leather blend. Great blind buy
Random question, but are less popular fragrances only released seasonally? I cannot find Eau De Cedré anywhere. Or is that a byproduct of it getting more publicity recently?
I can understand that vick's vapor rub feel up top Rob, the cardamom is of the eucalyptus scent profile on this one but luckily it doesn't stay throughout the scent it goes away...
hi mr forti, thank u and company for information, i looked up the costume national homme but there is an edp and an p (parfum). so now what, mr forti? i can only guess u r holding the p because the yellow looks dark. EDPs and Ps of one title often smell different, not only in intensity...so...
Max showed the EDP, the original. The Parfum comes in a darker bottle. Costume never made an EDT version. The EDP has cloves and the Parfum does not. The Parfum is smoother. The EDP is spicier and projects better.
Yup. Actually it’s 20hrs longevity on my skin with 4-6th hrs of projection ( moderate ) after testing. When you think the fragrance is gone, apply some water. It will be stronger

I would not go with oud wood if you're looking for a cardamom based scent.
La Nuit De L’homme by YSL ( 2018 Reformulated ). Projects 10hrs on my skin with 6hrs of moderate projection.
