Seeing ESC as a parade of cultures rather than a competition is so nice! I really wish more people saw it like this, because it really makes me sad when I read articles from Ireland or Germany who are salty about not getting enough points. Like... I get you want to win. But is that really what Eurovision is about? If you lose, you want to withdraw? I see the competition aspect of ESC as an added bonus.
Also, the tattoos are amazing! Although they remind me more of snowflakes rather than stars. Still, a beautiful design.

One thing I have to give Czechs (and Slovaks) credit for, no matter where they go, they are never annoyed by people pronouncing their names horrifically badly. Clara Amfo, I find it really rude that you couldn't be bothered to pronounce any of Vesna's names correctly, only Bara's wasn't butchered. Czechs would have pronounced your name TSLARA, but I bet all of Vesna learnt to pronounce the C as K, not TS (as it is in Czech). Reminds me of the time a British person was interviewing Vaclav Noid Barta (Czechia 2015) and called him VAKLAV (it's VAHTSLAHV) and yet Vaclav said nothing. Czech chill is only matched by British arrogance!

@@fyrhunter_svk ano ne vždy mám pravdu, ale to se stane jenom tak 1-2x týdně :)). Překvapilo mne to a vlastně potěšilo, že jsme byli tak vysoko. To chudáci Němci a Angláni dopadli dost tvrdě. Nejlepší byl podle mě čačača Fin :)
