... Imma be honest, the idea of a form of magic that was used in combination with martial arts has fascinated me in many ways. I would love to see a form of magic specifically made to compliment an unarmed fighting style.
Sounds like a perfect set up for a souls like game that's heavily inspired by the grossness of Let It Die. I say souls like in terms of their closed/shared universe type thing. You'd have to risk understanding each and every virus by either taking it in yourself or experimenting by putting it in another being. Once you understand what it is you can then see as the viruses that are that specific one. So eventually you'll discover all of the base viruses. But then as time goes on and infected beings mingle with each other or fight each other, viruses with combine or mutate, taking random aspects of each and combining them together, making a new virus all together. So you'll never truly be able to discover every virus but you can at least have all of the base versions of them and experiment to eventually create whatever other viruses you encounter. And that would go for every player. Eventually everyone's world would look different or maybe some similar or even the exact same. Would be pretty cool.
These fantasy building and magic system videos are AMAZING! I've saved your Bone Magic, Tree Magic, and "Why EVERYONE Should Create A Fantasy Language" videos to a fantasy world building playlist in case I ever find the motivation to take on the task of creating entire magic systems myself! I had a couple ideas on a magic system, but how about one based on Frequency. Everything is supposed to have a frequency and maybe someone can tune into a specific frequency and use it. Like tuning in to the Sun's frequency or something like that.
What about a magic system revolving around waves, since there are so many scientific discoveries that are connected to them. There are also different types of waves such as mechanical or electromagnetic that would work perfectly in a magic system. For example, maybe people can tune into different wavelengths, and some people can access abilities based from light while others from sound. Just an idea😁
I have an idea for a magic system, a Magic systems around the concept of RTS like command and conquer, red alert and more, this magic system rarely awakens but when it does it is always unique to individuals taking traits both shown and secret ones such if you love racing yours may be based on racing units and structures and abilities, however this same racing lover is secretly serial killer by killing with his vehicle while racing as such his powers gained death racing concept, in result showing everyone who he really is and his hidden darkness
I know this probably won’t get seen but can you do a tattoo magic systems? I already have a very rough idea: there is a special ink that has been made/found and with that you can tattoo almost any item on there body allowing them to take the item in and out of there body/skin. For example let’s say you tattoo a sword on your arm, you can’t take out the sword and use it. But wile the sword is out of your body you can but other stuff in the spot were the stick was. I know this probably won’t get seen but it worth a shot, I really like your content and I though I wouldn’t hurt to try giving you this is idea I had in my head but was never able to expand on. Ma I'm trying to write my own fantasy story inspired by Bleach, Star Wars and Middle Ages. I think I have quite a unique magic system in it - I haven't heard it be like that anywhere. Its a little more like alchemy than magic, because in my world, you can't just use magic, and you have to use special crystals, only those crystals connected to the alloy from which the tool or weapon will be made allow the user to cast spells by using this item. A given type of crystal gives the user access to a given advice of the basic element, he tool/weapons specialize in what set of spells it is, but you can also mix crystals of different elements to get access to new element and a new set of spells. In addition, there also exist artificial black magic crystals are banned.
What if the smiling and crocheting grandma is actually weaving together an intricate magical armor/artifact with knot magic while asking about your day XD

If you take we are in a simulation..then viruses will be data/ program.. which does nothing until it enters a host ( computer or living cells) then the virus activation happens and it starts to infect and replicate it self... Which is similar to what we observe from biological virus... i read somewhere that water on earth came from outer space in the form of ice... and what if some alien life ( microorganisms) was in it....this is main cause of life on earth and some of it remained dormant and trapped in the polar ice ..and due to global warming these virus are released and due to exposure to nuclear weapon testing done by humans these virus absorb radiation and cause mutation 😅.. ..this causes apocalypse ...some virus infected plants (only genetically modified ones by humans) basically no plant based food and causes a famine.. humans can only depend on animals ..due to these sudden changes many species are extinct....some virus bonds with female humans ( pregnant ) ..due to excessive exposure to foreign genetic material ( Rna ) many infants dies but surviving few are born with many mutation (depends on environmental factors)... ... ... Omg i need to touch some grass 😅
These virus bonds are due to reason that during pregnancy ... females has their immunity suppressed or immunity cells will attack infant .. these virus bonds with placenta and enter baby's DNA... the kids born are immune or tolerance to viral load .. but are carrier of virus .. within a week of birth kids starting to crawl or imitation of sounds and higher intellect...this causes the government to isolate the baby for observation..and experiment...4 year old mutant can physically overpower a military veterans , increased regeneration & pain tolerance , and have limited infrared vision ... A new pathogen was born that cause multiple accelerated Cancers and highly contagious ☠️... this new pathogen causes a new pandemic and killing 99% of humans ... within a week government and order collapsed and humans were totally helpless.. only some isolated tribes in some regions survived ( mutants) ..now it's there role to survive and repopulate the earth 🥺.. Few centuries has passed due to less human activities nature has reclaimed many places ...due to less technology development these new human have a developed a spiritual and hunter way of life..they have found new ways to improve their survival and hunting skills using the virus (virus manipulation/ virus magic) There are many tribes each having their unique virus magic like - poison magic :- these people use virus to cultivate toxins and poison in their body by eating poisonous things and Store in their blood...then coating their weapons and nails with blood for hunting Mind control magic :- these people cultivate and produce virus in their body and infect their victims brain without affecting other body parts... which are typically small animal like rats or bats ...they use their pheromones signal virus to activate neural pathway to control... Fire/ice magic :- these people's body are specially modified by virus for coexistence in extreme temperatures ...they have special multiple layers of skin in their hands which are very dry then oily layers etc when they activate their virus.. their body will start vibrate and produce heat with friction their hands gets ignite..🔥 For ice magic -their body heat from both hands are absorbed to their chest..and virus in their hands absorbing surrounding vibration. I'm working on a more fantasy styled version of the fall from heaven story with Lucifer framed as the protagonist. And I'm working on a soul magic system using the souls of "gods" creations. Id love to see your take on it. :)
@@hadrianpollard - yes basically, so the souls of all living things have a value. it starts out with the angels always being taught to manipulate their own souls to create what ever it is they want to, art music etc. and in times of war (angels being gods warriors) the armour and weapons they use. this comes to a head when lucifer works out that god made humans to worship him as those souls that worship grant more value and an arms race begins from there with stealing / absorbing souls of different things and even other angels. The souls are stored and can be used but once all used up a angel would be back to base levels that they were created with I'm happy to DM you the idea in more detail if you like :)

Check it out if you've got time: cloud magic, cellular/molecular/atomic magic, emotion magic, imagination magic, & scribe magic. I feel like at least a couple of those have probably been suggested already, but there ya go lol.
I love this idea! Though would it not be better dubbed Immunity Magic? The ability to manipulate biological material around us and actively manipulate our genetics to compensate for potentially dangerous bacteria or virus sounds more like the response of a highly advance immune system than anything else. I understand that viruses can cause genetic alterations, but such instances would be very localized, and not conducive to overall growth unless there was some sort of mediator regulating the effects (I.E. the human body). The idea that the body as a whole develops a method to compensate for the constant genetic influence caused by all these viruses sounds more like internal factors than external factors (meaning the magic comes from within, instead of from the virus itself). Which… honestly sounds a little cooler to me. Less sci-fi “it happened by chance” and more “it was inevitable due to evolution”. Just my opinion though, the idea is still really cool!
