Hey Jeff, Pete from Perth in Western Australia here. Have just begun watching your reactions and saw your interview with Con today. Your reaction to Long Way home is just exactly how l feel about HSCC and this briliant piece by Roger Hodgson. The line “ when you look through the years and see what you could have been …..what you might have been….if you would have more time.” Oh, as a now 65 year old, that just resonates with me so much and l think it does with you too. Love your work 😎👍👍
HSCC has been one of my all time find´s from youtube, they just keep delivering these so well played, singed and produced songs (credit to the sound engineer, huge respect also) time after time... Many videos are just so good that i have to come back to them and listen it many times... The amount of talent in this group is almost hard to realize, they make it look so easy.... Love them!
Hello, I totally agree with you.. I have seen Leonid and Friends in the USA and have to say they do go above and beyond. Yes HSCC a great band would love to see them in the USA...
Totally agree with your comments Jeff. Love your Chanel. I have been following HSCC since their inception and they have continually evolved into what we are seeing and hearing today. These Replicating bands are keeping the older music fresh and alive in today’s musical environment.
Been a follower of HSCC since the start, went & seen them live last Friday night and what great show they put on, Brad also does a great version of in the air tonight Phil Collins!!!!
This was a fantastic rendition of this song. Absolutely loved it. I encountered a reviewer once who refused my requests to review covers - she only wanted the original artist. I so wanted to point out that meant she couldn't review Elvis' version of Bridge Over Troubled Water, Sara B's version of Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, and on and on. What she was really saying was she didn't to review anyone whose song hadn't been a hit on mainstream radio. I unsubscribed and haven't watched her since. One thing to point out is that many cover bands don't attempt to perform the song exactly like the original artist. Take Music Travel Love. They change the melody and harmony to suit their style. Other groups you have reviewed are similar. Even Leonid & Friends rendition of Color My World had its own spin which, in my opinion, made it much better than the original.
These guys hail from our city of Adelaide in South Australia. Only one small sad thing- the original garage band team broke up over a dispute HSCC and now Sing It have split into 2 otherwise would have been a greater force in the music talent world.
Hey Jeff, I'm the mix engineer. It was fun to see you react in real time. I think I had an out of body experience mixing this performance. 😄
@@PeterSavad Hey Peter, you do such a stellar job in these! 😃👏👏👏
@@StrateleStudios 🙏
Damn did they nail that. Harmonica especially is on point. Harmonies? Please! So good. Supertramp is not easy to cover!

Thanks, Jeff. Excellent! ♥
Wow! Super nice on the Super Tramp cover. Big smile. Have you heard the Reo Brothers? They do some really good Beatles' and Bee Gees' covers.
So good
