Thanks man. I was about to give up on the software because of this and an audio issue I was having due to my lack of patience. Now I think I got it all figured out. I mostly got it to use in standalone but there are definitely certain things I'd like to do with the software as well.
I usually do all my work and stand alone but then when I want to track it out I'll load it up in controller 💯 thanks for watching I appreciate it very much.

Thanks for the video.....You said you removed Komplete....was it interfering with your computers performance or not working with the MPC software?.
It works great with the software. My computer was not fast enough to handle it, though

How can you use garage band or third party plug ins with the mpc key 61
Well, I have tried and tried to get them to work the way you show here. They download and scan, but when I click on plugins they don’t show up. The only way I’m able to access them is to go the mixer screen and click to insert…then, they all show up. I’m not sure why the other way is not working. I’m new to all this so if someone could explain why it doesn’t work the way that you and everybody says, I’d appreciate the information.
Hey what's up dude . Good video . I've been using my mpc live in standalone mode since I've had it . I installed the software on my Microsoft surface but can not figure out how to open a project I have in standalone and open it in the software . Do you have any videos explaining how to install the software and step by step how to use the software ?

When you go to the acai acai you have to download three things
The software, the driver for midi,, and the firmware make sure you download all three.
How do you make sure the MPC software is in 64 bit? 🤔.... im tryna use keyscape.
I believe when you download it you can download with the option of 32 or 64-bit or you can right-click the icon on the desktop and it should ask you to run in 64-bit I hope
Is there a way to show and hide 3rd party vsts from the controller while using the software?
You can try program edit 💯 some show up some don’t but you can definitely control the vst with program edit

I'm sure in time you'll be able to. Especially when Ableton integration comes through.
I hope so, but don’t think so, the stand alone processing and os don’t have what it takes to run vst’s.. both in processing power, as well as in memmory cpacities as well as in os structure and libraries needed to archieve this.
I'm selling my force. It's fun but it's too annoying to have to go back and forth from ableton. The functionality isn't there nor is the efficiency.
Keep in mind that MPC studio doesn't support VST3. It will throw a "Load failed" error.

Download Both the software and Firmware
The firmware when you download it double click and it will walk you the rest. Make sure you get both software and firmware
@@PoliPopo ok just did all that, got the latest on both, just don't know where to start or click on first,please help me, i know im probably close, i actually saw it updataed, but it['s still showing January 23 in my uploads, when i just did it 2 days ago
@@d.j.2tuff725 if you’re using windows go to search and type in Mpc in your files will pop up just double click them they will extract and walk you through the rest of the set up if you’re using Mac go to finder and type in MPC software or firmware and it should be the same.

@@PoliPopo so frustrating, tried that says must activate, when i tried that, won't let me sign in to Ilok account, not rec ID or pw waiting for tech to get back with me i guress to reset it
Ayo why is it giving me "LOAD FAILED" when I scan my plugins on MPC Software? I got some vsts from wave central for example, pluggin them in the Steinberg folder and it aint workin
Make sure it is 64 bit and instead of scanning C/program files.,search your whole C/.

Yes. They're only accessible in standalone mode you will get the vault the wall of the noise and a few others you have to download them from the akai website but yes they're only available and controller mode
Poli Popo it’s because I don’t see those things those file downloads on the Akai pro website
@@rickyentertainment9405 it will be under your account you're registered products, and then it'll stay downloadable content,there you will find me MPC software drivers USB drivers and some expansions that only work in stand-alone.
The site could be under maintenance at the moment but I haven't checked recently

Wow! All of my VST`s DISAPPEARED,,,,SMDH
If you did an update you might have to rescan I'm still running 2.6 cuz last time I updated it wiped out my vsts also.. make sure you install them 64-bit
