Great video. Strange question, but - would it be feasible to swap the Mogrich's interior into a FCX Unimog? Asking as the Mogrich's interior looks halfway decent and accurate, while the Mogrich's is cartoony, at best.
Thank you. Should be possible - but you would have to cut quite a bit. Maybe better modify the Unimog interior. Check this: www.rockcrawler.de/thread/52872-fms-fcx-24-mercedes-benz-unimog-421-1966/?postID=1809832#post1809832
Got prettry much all the FMS 1/12, 1/18 and 1/24 models and I am very disapointed on this FCX24 Unimog drivetrain performance. While it is strong it is too much sloopy, the car moves itself 3-4cm to front/back while stationary. When going up/down obstacles this makes the car feel strange and not stable. I noticed most of this is related to the portal axle, but also from the plastic driveshaft and some portion from the 2 speed tranny as expected. The shocks also feel too stiff. Did you noticed these? Is the mogrich better since it does not have portal and only 1 speed transmission? I really likes the car appearence should I replace it with mogrich?
Thank you. Yes, I saw it - super cool. But too many trucks out... honestly I want to make this stuff at home (airbrush, weathering, etc.) and not buy it - but this camper mod is awesome... would love if they'd slow down with new trucks ;-)
@@bobward7508 ... yes - and meanwhile it also gets really expensive... two new Hobby Plus Performance Crawlers... I miss the times when there was a new truck now and then...
Mogrich is a different platform, in the FCX24 it would be easier. However, both do have electronics in body and not on Chassis, as Smasher and Co. You'd probably need some parts to mount board and battery, should not be difficult to mount the Smasher body.
@@donaldsneffe Here is the reason I ask. I have a 421 ‘Mog on order and saw a video of a guy who put fat monster truck tires on the PowerWagon. I actually prefer the Mog’s look so perhaps it would have been more useful to ask you if you think I have any chance of making these huge wheels work with the fcx24 Mog body. Although I would rather preserve as much as possible I’m prepared to hack it up if needed. Here’s the video see near the end the results are hilarious. ua-cam.com/video/TouymsnH7II/v-deo.htmlsi=emZscEf22AVRm15K
Bester RtR ESC ever... ;-) (ok, der Austar ist leise). Deutlich besser als SCX24 v2 (von v1 oder 3 brauchen wir gar nicht reden). Ja, ich hab auch 5 oder 6 SCX24 ;-)
Yes ;-) - I checked it - it was the light that was already broken and I had only glued for repair ;-) - had this forgotten, the Mogrich was unused in it's box for a year or so. Meanwhile exchanged the light against a new spare one (quite a bit of work, unfortunately).
@@拉鏈殺手 never broke one so far, they only fell off. Mogrich does not have screws inside to mount the mirrors, Unimog does. Did open the Mogrich and used a screw to fix the mirror and mounted a new light, which I had already orderes some time ago. Lights in Mogrich are glued (horrible to take out), Unimog uses again a screw (but did not break a light so far and so did not have to take them out - did order spares with my Unimogs).
Nice unimogs... you have 4!
Congrats 💪 👏

Awesome video man! Did you see they are making a tactical Black Camper mod version too?!

I saw that, looks armored with all those rivets, but it's not tactical until it has weapons mounted, lol 🪖
Great video! you answered my question!
Where can I buy the wood effect stickers for the rear bed sides & tailgate? Nice video
Those are no stickers, it is painted.
How many trucks do you need?
donaldsneffe: Always one more!
Nice 'mogs. Since these are FCX24 flatform how difficult would it be change the body to the Smasher body for instance?

Hi, where you can get those MB chrome emblems and a star?
The FCX24 Unimogs are licensed and do come with those.
@@donaldsneffe Yes, but for Mogrich.
