I have never liked how In games you have to fight a super powerful boss, but when you actually get them, they are so much weaker than they were when you fought them.

Actually snartle can be defeated at the start of the game he actually adapts to your level so you need to actually make a strategy
This game has taught me that you should most certainly never jaywalk, because the little masked gremlin is gonna slice your kneecaps off
An easy thing you can do to make fights easy is called the “Soultimate cancel”. Where you basically just start your yokai’s Soultimate immediately after they attack and immediately cancel it, if the yokai u are doing it on is the one on the left, then they will attack again. Only works in the first game and the switch version of the first game

Cool trick but exploiting such a problem is cheating tbh.
Fun fact: you can actually do this fight at the start of the game without the yokai cam (there's a medium exporb you can use on buhu, smalls on cadin, Hermes badge for buhu + sell everything you can for fish) and with some luck, you can heal and let buhu inspirit and make snartle unable to do actions while cadin does damage (soultimating while guarding is VERY good to stall for a few turns then heal hp). It's actually a fun challenge, I recommend recommend to try it.
So I know this is old, but with the rank E watch and you don't want to grind, I recommend bringing a Coughkoff. If it lands an inspirit, it actually does a hefty chunk around mid 30's.

+The Legendary Pokemon of Legend Flengu you can Catch EASILY. Know Breezy Hills? Yeah, If you See a Tree on the Side of a Trash Can? Two Trees Can Spwan Flengu. Fav. Food is Cheap Sweats.
Swelterrier: You Need to Haave the Post Game Infinite Inferno 7th Circle in the Middle of the Room to 8th Circle. In the Room 1 to get to 8th Circle I't Will Spawn NEXT To the Door. Fav. Food is Ramen.
Azure Dragon: On the Top Green Door of the Right Room of the 4th Circle Way to the 5th Infinite Inferno Circle Azure Dragon Could be There. In a 5/1 Chance you Can Find him. Fav. Food is Chinese Food.
Thank you soooooo much for you guides!! I beat the game and i loved every bit of it but i'm about to work on the post game. Because of you I got Shogunyan and he pretty much helped me beat a lot of bosses! I'm going to get Snartle!! wee!!

Got him on the first try! Even got the heart whisp and started and finished with a yokai with popular and used marbled beef.
I actually feel like trying the first method XD Also cool new ending screen!
+The Legendary Pokemon of Legend first method can be tough unless you have very high level team

yeah i feel likedoing this method too i have such a hard time defeating bosses un the end because of my low levels so i guess grinding seems like my best bet

i got him im so hyped
I did the watch thing and I got it. I wanted another jibanyan because I wanted the second to be my video file. I remembered this viddo after I got walkappa and headed for the cross walk. After I incounderd him, my little lv 23 cadeble was owning snartle. It was pretty easy to diffet him but it took a while even when you can't speed it up because you need to keep a eye on Heath and feed the their food. I didn't get far enough in the game to get his favorite food so I tried all my foods. none of them was it but then I put chicken thigh and he loved it. after a few tries I finally got his with the wisp thing. I didn't need population yo kai I busted needed a healer, tattletell
I remember after having the game for one or two days, I saw the "ANY LITTLE BRATS WHO DON'T FOLLOW RULES AROUND HERE?!" go across my screen and was so confused. Snartle showed up and kicked my E-ranked ass in two seconds. I was really surprised and blown away at the time, haha.
omg same, from then on I would always jaywalk around the crosswalks instead lol
i actually got him the hard way with Rank A watch and J-walking, got him on the second try. This guy is totally worth it!!

I did the easy jaywalk method buuuuut.....i was rank S. Thankfully after being so dang adamant about getting him i finally convinced him to join my team after promising to be a good boy from now on.
hey i got him really easy on early gameplay about 10 hours, but im using the holy exporbs exploit method you explained on your video. Really easy fight auto battle and he approaching me! thanks dude..
What I did is going with a team of Shogunyan, Betterfly, Komane, Blizzaria, Shmoopie and Komiger, start giving it’s favourite food in the boss battle and then start using the soultimates in this order: Bonito Blade, Spirit Burst, Crazy Lightning and Shiny Snowdriffs. I then would fix it with Shogunyan, Komane and Betterfly and I would be healing with Nom Burgers whenever my team was in bad health, specially to Betterfly. If Snartle started charging up For Naughty Brats and I didn’t cancel it, I would give a Nom Burger to Betterfly and try unleashing Bestacular to heal the team back. I of course equipped Shogunyan with the Vampiric Fangs.
Now my team consists in Shogunyan, Snartle, Betterfly, Blizzaria, Komane and Komiger and I could defeat Wobblewok with it.
Another thing you can do is use QR codes for the crank-a-Kai and you have a small chance of getting him, that’s what I did. (The second game)
If u have chanin (or guy with sensei hat) his soultimate move raises ur attack so I'm grinding a komosan and chanin to beat his boss form with a rank c watch (I'm mad that I didn't know the watch rank was mattered in the battle)

Took me 15 different snartles (4 hours with a pinkypoo btw ) but then I accidentally got the forever flower then went down and got the betrayed blade also on accident sooo you tell me if I lost out 😂

This is what i do. I figured this out today. To be fair, i haven't recruited him using this method, but this is a way you can beat him before Post Game.
My main fighters in this fight was: Shogunyan. Frostina and Darumacho.My Level 40 Shogunyan was a typical melee fighter, with Serious and Rough attitude.
Level 36 Frostina with Serious and Brainy.
And level 30 Darumacho, who was the key character in this fight. I gave him the Calm and Serious attitude, to make him a blocker.
I am new to this game, and im sure there are better tank yo-kai than Darumacho. He's just the one i used.
Step 1: When the battle starts, throw the Marbled Meat at Snartle.
Step 2: Instagate the Soultimate move for Darumacho (or whichever Yo-kai you're using for tanking) But do not Spin, press the marbles or draw the lines. Just let your tank stand there charging.
Snartle will ALWAYS attack the one who's about to Soultimate.
Step 3: keep your tank alive. When he starts to guard, he will be able to withstand about 4 or 5 hits, before you need to heal him. Shogunyan and Frostina kinda just wailed on him, until he fainted.
And when Snartle uses his own Soultimate, just swtich to your other three Yo-kai.
It worked for me. Atleast in beating him. I have not recruited him using this method.

I used a similar setup. A D Rank, I had Darumucho in the middle slighty above level 30 with a Badude for Tough Bonus and Betterfly to heal him as Snartle attacked. None of my guys dipped blow half in the end. I was almost disappointed at how easy he was by that point. Then again I did prep a lot after I got waxed the first time by him at E rank.

Works in YKW2 as well. Did it yesterday on my third account with some op qr codes and my level 34 Jibanyan. Ez. My Watch was rank e. 😂

You shouldn’t be impressed with that. The 3rd yo Kai you get after Buhu is an auto befriend after the battle.
What I did in yo Kai watch 2 I just absolutely shattered traffic laws in post game and fed him marbled beef

I got snartle in boss form and it was pretty easy
In the 2nd game i got him in boss mode on accident and it was before i deafeated dame deadtime
Snartle is weaker when your watch rank is low so I beat his boss form with a rank d watch and got him but you may want to level your yo kai a little so his boss form is the weakest when you have a rank e watch
I'm at D rank right now but I have a bunch of B~C rank yokai from fusion/evo around lvl 20~25, is that enough to beat snartle? I'm planning to use the jaywalking method.

But the thing is that all the yo kai I use are all over level 53 except one and I can’t beat him
I tried like 55 hours to befriend them and then like I try like 45 45 times and still nothing it's because I do not like befriending Yokai in this game

I had just gotten Snartle today but I did it vs. the boss form. My Yo-kai Watch was B and I used Yo-kai between 33 and 38 using an Impass to serve as a tank and Tattletell to heal Impass with her Caring and use her Soultimate move in order to cancel out Snartle's. I had brought Cupistol with me and I did get a heart from a blue wisp. You can get multiple hearts from a gold wisp if you are lucky. Anyway, I know the Snartle I had fought was way tougher but the one that joined me is level 20.
Since I now have Snartle, what's the best attitude for this guy? He actually joined me as Rough instead of Grouchy like I'm used to seeing. Should I keep him this way since Rough will focus more on upping his strength stat rather than splitting it between strength and HP with the Grouchy attitude?
Keep Rough. Grouchy has no effect on HP. It makes him more commonly do physical attacks, but can also do spiritual attacks, which are trash with him.

i already beat this game. im on the second playthrough. im at the beginning trying to befriend snartle. i kick his but easily but he just wont drop. no access to meat or shoompie or cassanova. any advice on how to increase my chances?

Im S Ranked, Ive killed him on street 16 times and more. Proper way to friend with everything I can do to friend. Dont know whats going on there. I havent found snartle once in apartments for last 4 hours at night soft reseting. Did they change it and make it impossible to get in apartment or do I have to keep killing him in street?
