How to Make IR Proximity Sensor using LM358 at Home by Inventive Technical Support

  • I have made a project which is IR Proximity Sensor using LM358 IC. I will upload a video soon which is How to Test IR LED & IR Receiver. Please SUBSCRIBE to my channel for more information about Electronics Project.
    This circuit can be easily made at home. You can made it too. It take some component to make it which I used.
    1. LM358 IC
    2. 10K Preset
    3. 10K Resistor
    4. 330 Ohm resistor
    5. IR LED
    6. IR Receiver
    7. Output LED (5mm Green)
    8. Bradeboard
    9. Some Jumper Wire

    I'm going to make line follower IR for robot car.
    So output from LM358 to that green LED can also be connected A0 pin of Arduino right?

      Do you have tutorial for water level indicator using RF433 and ht12e and ht12d ic?
      I able to make it buzzer goes off when water reach highest level but not lowest level.
      I'm using only one buzzer for the circuit to save space on my zero pcb.

    Ir transmitter and receiver or
    Ir receiver and ir led
    Which one

      in my case Black one is IR Transmitter And White one is IR Receiver.
      you 1st Check which is IR LED and Which is IR receiver .
      you take a Multimeater and check with Continuty mood. IR LED (Transmiter) Anode Pin Connect to Multimeater Positive Probe and Cathode is connect to Multimeater Negative probe. It showing value approx 1100 - 1200.

      iam doing this proximity circuit for last 3 weak and didn't got the output i watched almost all videos in you tube about proximity circuits and now watching yours this videos is my last hope

      @@its015 Sir, i have a doubt regarding proximity sensor circuit. That is the circuit connection i have done is correct, but while sensing an object the led is getting OFF and while the object is not in the proximity, the led is getting ON. This is happening exactly the opposite as yours result.
      Do you know any Solution to correct it

      @@themaster6377 You will connect your Output LED's Cathode pin to IC pin 1 and Anode pin connect to VCC by a 330 ohm resistor

    How I check it is white led or ir receiver.... Please reply it is urgent... Please help...

      You take a Multimeater and check with Continuty mod. IR LED's Anode Pin Connect to Multimeater Posetive Probe and Cathode is connect to Multimeater Negative probe. It showing value approx 1100 - 1200.
      If its an IR Receiver it will show novalue on multimeater.
      But if its a White LED it will glow.
