Chris, thanks for your vlog. Have you heard of the Camino de Santiago pilgrim routes in Spain and considered doing one? I think it would be most beneficial to you through my own experience and almost 100% of people to set out and complete an amazing journey across Spain. Interested to your thoughts to my query.
Hi Mark, great to hear from you. I can't say that's something I've heard of before now, but it's definitely something I'll look up, it sounds just like my kind of thing. Thank you for the recommendation!
Incase your wondering there's no strings attached on my behalf, just a recommendation to a few wonderful walks through some fantastic countryside, mountain scenery and historical towns and villages..in your time and on a shoestring budget, absolutely nothing in for me, just the thought to share an amazing journey to your self..check out YT vlogs to find out more
Great video! I feel I can turn my life around & not sweat the small things. To be kind & patient. Such good advice. I felt as if you were talking directly to me. Thank you!!!!
Hi Donna, really glad you enjoyed the video! Absolutely, there's always an opportunity to turn our life around when we need to :) Wishing you the very best for the year ahead!
@@ChrisSkoyles Yes, it's been over 3 years now since you helped me stop smoking. Just checking in once in awhile to see your happy face. Glad to see that you are flourishing. Keep it up!
I'm watching your older videos to help me quit smoking 2022 is my year and my wife's year to quit for our 3 kids. Thank you for your videos. I'm having issues living as a non smoker. What to do with my time. Yes spend time with my kids but I don't know what to do when I'm alone or looking for me time and that was smoking outside to get away. I used cigs as a way for distancing myself for the stupidity and irritating people I'm forced to deal with in my day to day. Any thoughts? Thank you again.
congrats on your great decision...you gotta do just one thing that is hang in there and don't pick one up..time will do it's thing once you get passed first 2-3 months you ll start seeing yourself as a non-smoker...till the time your cravings start fading away you can join a gym or do whatever makes you happy and keeps you distracted... remember take one day at a time good luck 👍🥂
Hi Daniel, congratulations on making the decision to quit smoking, no doubt you'll succeed this year! The good thing about quitting is that it does give us all this extra time, the bad thing is that sometime's it's tough to figure out what we do with it. In the early days I would keep myself occupied with tasks around the house. I had a list of things that needed fixing, cleaning, or otherwise taking care of, and when I'd get those idle moments when I'd usually smoke, I'd just pick a task and get to it. Eventually, I learned that all the time is a great opportunity to dive into those things I always wished I had more time for - practicing my guitar or starting a new hobby or learning how to cook. It might be a good idea to take some time out (maybe even when you're thinking about smoking) and journal or write a list about things you'd like to do, learn, improve on etc, whether it's a creative pursuit or exercise or anything else. Hope that's helpful. Also, thanks for asking this question, it's a great idea for a future video!
You got this Daniel! Take your life back and be proud of yourself! 😄 I'm proud of you too because I know how difficult it is to get out of this cess pit of self destruction. ☺️
@@FilosophiaxXx thank you so much for the encouragement. I didn't realize going into this how valuable other people's support and positive words does and will keep me going. I don't have friends I keep drama and bullshit limited in my life as much as possible. I've had so many friends at one point now that are all gone one way or another. Point being that even positive words from a stranger can be empowering. Thank you again. And same to you going through a smokeless journey.
Hi Mark, haven't had chance to read through the latest comments yet, but just saw this pop-up. The email address is likely to be the case - not my call, something UA-cam puts in automatically, but I should still be able to see the comments from my dashboard so I'll check them out for certain!
