Yes please, a full tutorial will be amazing, just like you are, amazing! :)
Will do!
I second that emotion.
Note: if you want to buy the premium version only for the design customization, you can try CSS with the free version 😉
Thank you, I just installed cookies, with this helpful video.
I use it for two years now ! Very useful, complete and intuitive too.
Great to hear!
Yes plz more on analytics and how it connects to cookies, those tabs you skimmed through.
Got it
Yes please
This is good stuff. We need more of this.
Cover the Tag Manager & Consent mode pls ... and if I saw you about I would ask for an autograph and buy you a burger.
Mmmmmm... I may try to find you now!!
Can you maybe do a video on other similar plugins, I found some and I do not know how to choose the most suitable one. Here are the one's I found: Consent Magic Pro, Complianz Privacy Suite, Ultimate GDPR & CCPA Compliance Toolkit... Help! :D
yes would be gtreat if you have add a video on how to let cookiebot work with google tag manager
Thank you for sharing, I will put that on my website
Wonderful!
Thanks! Illuminating!
Please make a video about google tag manager and consent using this plugin 🙏🏽
Will do
How crazy of a coincidence is this we just implemented this not too long ago for our own websites
Nice one! And how have you found its implementation? PS - do you think I should do a video on the Google Tag Manager and Consent V2 part?
@@websquadron i would appreciate the google tag manager vid alot. The consent v2 is also not bad too.
Does this in any form add to or upgrades termagedons cookie policy? Because i have termagedons cookie, privacy and terms.
If you already have Termageddon then that is fine
Thank you
Why can t we use a pop-up in elementor rather than yet another plug in?
Pop up won’t contain the gdpr bits or would it?
Curious question: does this affect google ranking
No, as long as it doesn't block or stop your site from loading - which it doesn't :)
I do fully understand and know, that all this legal stuff, such as privacy policy, cookie policy and legal notice (Impressum) are very important today.
I do implement it in several websites already, where I also mentioned it to my clients.
But to be honest, we aren't a data officer for our clients, unless we have a contract with them. And especially privacy policies aren't just starting on a website, it's starting how clients do handle it internally.
I believe, we only can advise our clients what needs to be done - in bedt practices. If they aren't aware about it and not care about it, then it could not be our responsibility if there is an issue.
What are your thoughts?
Totally agree. And I have waiver statements and advice sent to clients before we opt for adding in their Cookie Solutions, Privacy Policies etc. It's important to make clear that you're not the DPO especially if it's just a one-off build with no maintenance agreement going forwards.
Is it compatible with Google Consent Mode V2?
You need to apply some further settings for that.
So, if I have an analytics tool that dont collect and save visitors data (for example Plausable Analytics), then I dont need a cookiebanner?
It depends on more than just analytics. For example if you use google maps, a UA-cam video, or Recaptcha on your website you need a cookiebanner.
You can never not get away from collecting data as even your host provider will collect some details like device used, location etc
@@websquadron Those fuckers!
All the companies have your data by now. My website cookies plugin, says "By browsing this website WE OWN YOU". Everyone still accepts it. No one cares about all of this. On my clients websites its very small and out of the way. Cookies and not saying thank you when letting someone pass while driving are my pet hates.
I do wish we could abandon GDPR :(
also would like full tutorial, especially tricky when your Elementor form doesn't seem to "talk" to UserCentric, so if they deny and you collect info via contact form, what then?
Good point.
Hi Imran, presumably it's only free for one website - do you use your customer's email address to keep the free version, or do you use the paid version ?
Customer Email, especially since if I drop dead, they have control.
